This was a surprise gift from my daughter's partner who is also a biker and when he gave it to me as we were leaving for the airport, you could have knocked me over with a feather.
The quality is outstanding!
Btw, it's tech because it can also be used on recalcitrant PCs

Decided it was finally time to retire ye trusty olde Thermaltake x71. I've had no complaints out of it whatsoever, it's just time for a change. I've been debating between the Lian li v3000 plus (only $279 @ Microcenter!) and the Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 Server Edition for months. Finally decided to go with the Phantek. I've built a ton of rigs out of their Enthoo Pro cases over the years. They have all been very high quality, solid cases and this badboy looks the part

I've just setup the new Beelink and was pleasantly surprised to find Win 11 Pro installed and preactivated, when the blurb hadn't mentioned that it had an OS installed. I even downloaded an ISO in advance.
I'll now set it up in the living room to replace the huge gaming machine :peace:

They're fairly solid & reliable and being priced fairly. They're easy to service and upgrade and Beelink support is good.

It's up and running Windows 11 straight out of the box, at least in my case. You simply connect a keyboard, mouse and HDMI cable, and stream away.
A Ryzen 5 system in miniature form for £250, to replace a massive desktop in the living room, is a pretty good deal in my opinion. Furthermore, it can be hidden away behind the TV thus less clutter.
Although the TV is a 'smart' one with all the apps available, I prefer to have more control and therefore stream through a browser via the Beelink.

A used enterprise Hitachi 12TB enterprise HDD (not shown here) to replace a failed 4TB disk on NAS. Found out the hard way that enterprise HDDs can be comically loud. It sounds like an annoyed person constantly hitting a desk with the back of its fingers so I have to get another proper NAS HDD to replace it.

Not related to the NAS but fortunately, I was looking for a giant SSD and come across this monstrosity... a used Micron 5300 PRO 7.68TB enterprise SSD with 100% health and 20% cheaper than the Samsung 870 QVO 8TB. Great for a "VM", "applications" and the dreaded p-word.
EDIT: It is "only" 7680TB, not 8000GB as in the 870QVO. It also has a very low random write IOPS for a SSD (only rated 11000 IOPS), but probably completely fine for real world usage.
Seriously why is the 870 QVO still the only consumer 8TB SATA option though ???

Just bought a PCIE x4 to M.2 adapter from ebay, I can get my GPU working with the full x16 bandwith.

Tho RTX 3080 doesn't hurt too much even with my current 3.0 x8 speeds...
