Broke into top 100 of worldwide ranking in FH5 Hide and Seek. Top 25 would mean dedicating 7x more hours daily just to stay 7x behind.
Honestly where I stopped is a pretty low bar I have every intent to move away from before (cheaters discover an exploit in time for the next update) getting crushed.

So restarting Fallout New Vegas and the Steam version is ... really shitty. Installing the mods that are supposedly bug fixing made things like buildings and entire mountains flash in and out of existance until I alt-tabbed out and in again, until alt-tabbing back stopped working. I'm just going to find the old "aquired" installation files because the first full playthrough I did didn't have any bugs at all that I remember. Everything sucks, why do everything suck so very much and why does everything suck more with each passing day, even decade old games? I hate everything so much.

So instead I'm playing Rimworld while watching Agents of SHIELD, remembering a time when there was some things that weren't sucky (MCU Golden Age).

And hey the flickering? It's in the save file! Completely reinstalling the game and the mods I used (the ones that were supposed to fix the bugs in the Steam version) and the flickering remains, and loading the save in a completely new install still flickers! At this point I will confidentaly say mods ruins more things than improves them (seeing how many hours of gametime I'm loosing because I'm playing modded games, I had a survival-Skyrim thing going and there were some updates and POOF nah, no more, it's all gone, worth nothing).

I HATE EVERYTHING SO MUCH

Thank dog my old save (now without mods though) still works. On to nuclear powerrrr!

In addition to the above it might be that Bethesda are especially bad at EVERYTHING and when they make their most coherent game in modern times (Starfield) people get angry at them, because what people want from a Bethsoft game is bugs and a shitty engine and shitty writing so their little minds can focus on something other than wanking for a minute and turn to modding and thinking metric shitloads of bad writing is what makes for immershun.

Phew that "other version" works, with the save that Steam can't handle. STRANGE ISN'T IT

Finally started with Death Stranding. Kojima, you're a fcking legend. Its the most tedious and boring looking gameplay but he had me by the balls straight from the prologue, I forgot to pee for 5 hours straight I think. And it just looks absolutely fantastic, too. I'm collecting wallpaper material like a madman here.

Yeah... 98% ultrawide apparently, strangely, the game always cuts off a bunch of pixels on every UW res.

I will also say I don't think I have laughed as hard at a game as when I saw that baby. Absolutely bonkers, but it also makes sense, doesn't it?

Slowly making progress in Warhammer Martyr 'around lvl 30 atm' and also playing from one save point till the next in Callisto Protocol. 'I actually kind of like the game so far'
Other than that I'm busy playing my free2play gachas as usual, have to say Wuthering Waves is my big 2024 surprise.
Yeh its a gacha but it doesn't force it up on you since even the free characters are capable once leveled/geared up and if I can pull a limited character every 2-3 months then I'm all good.
The side stories and events are great and the cut scenes are simply amazing at this point. 'combat is insanely fun and addictive at least for me as an ex Vindictus player'

Jumped in my EGS library to see what i got that could get my interest back again for gaming and
found Trek to Yomi. So simple straight forward and at the same time refreshing to lay back , grab the controller
( rare the time i play with that) and enjoy the game.
i appreciate the UW support in this kind of game.

I don't know yet I'm in chapter 3 now, the basic sense of what they do sure, but clearly there's more?

Is it a good 1.0 release? It looks like they did touch on all the points that made part 1 not last quite as long as I'd wanted.

I'm only in chapter 2 at the moment. Optimization is crap, i get 45-52 fps on ultra and 55-62 on high at 1440p.
Gameplay wise the focus moved from individual buildings to districts; politics play a semnificant role, resources are scarce as in the first part, but manageable, interface and notifications could use a bit of polish, but nothing game breaking.
Also can't say anything about the lenght of the campaign so far, but Utopia mode seems solid from what I've read about it.
Overall I'd say a solid 8.5/10 so far.

I've always disliked the sport games, well I'm not exactly a sports person in general other than casually working out.
I think the only 'sport' games that I've kind of liked were the old Grand Prix Formula 1 games. 'used to watch F1 back in the days, not anymore tho'

I plan to, yes. We're living in a small survival horror renaissance as of the last five years or so, and I'm all for it! (Now please just let the Final Fantasy IX remake rumors come to light and for it to be good, and maybe I'll consider saying the same about JRPGs.)

I also hope they'll consider remaking Silent Hill 3 and even 4 if this one does well. Well, that leaves the original one, too.

Played a match Finland vs Sweden and I won 6-5, not any modern hockey game can get that feeling as NHL98... :)

After a long wait I've decided to give Fallout 76 a try, especially since it went FtP awhile ago.
Overall, I'm even more disappointed than first reviewers and pre-orderers. The game has been out for so long, and still has critical bugs even in main quests.
For some reason most keycards and some interactable items don't work for me at all.
I've only been playing for 3 days and already I had to use "photo mode" glitch 4 or 5 times to be able to progress through some quests.
My internal nostradamus tells me I'll never be able to finish even the main quest line in this thing, let alone do some proper exploration.
Basically it's even worse than Fallout 4, which I've only been able to finish(for the very first time) a few months back, when the "next gen" update came out. Tried for several years, but only now I've got a semi-decent playthough which wasn't borked by a critical game-breaking bug(or didn't kill my saves).

Bethesda happens.
I have yet to finish the main story in Fallout 4 let alone a lot of the side quests.

I don't know yet I'm in chapter 3 now, the basic sense of what they do sure, but clearly there's more?

I've played for a few hours (there are chapters to this game???), I'm talking about an early cut-scene.

As a side note, this is 7 frames at 200ms. The animation is 8 frames, however, every time I export the 8-frame version gimp glitches on me. :(
