I was wondering if these would ever get reviewed.

I always see the non pro and pro versions come up on discount websites constantly. Price is always great. super super competitive but the performance just aint there due to the higher latency. If you need a whole lot of ram for not a lot of money compared to whats out there. This would definitely fit that criteria. Crucial warranty has also always been good from what I hear.

I dont understand who this review is for, this looks like the most basic ram sticks with really basic timings.

You cant recommend this to anyone other than those you have a bad cpu/mb that cant xmp/expo their memory

And can you please list 6000 cl30/32 as a reference point instead of cl40, there is no point in running 6000 ddr5 with cl40 timings

As long as you have some basic ram like mine 6000 cl 30, it really doesn't matter at all for gaming does it. I mean mine was only $80, so I don't see why anyone would get more bargain bin than that.

Those who need high capacity for cheap. If you look at both Intel and AMD, the compute benchmarks are mostly in line with 5600 CL40 and really isn't far behind the rest. For gaming, AMD suffers the most at a lower graphical setting, while Intel has less of a memory latency sensitivity (it still exists). So you play at 4K max graphical settings and or are a content creator, there is no reason to spend more money from a purely performance standpoint in that scenario.

What would you say if I told you that this memory kit will be paired with a Intel 14900K / 6950XT in the near future?

I guess I lucked out on overclocking potential for my kit of the same RAM. The sticks overclocker to 6600 with XMP, and default VDIMM. Turning off XMP, 1.3V with 40-48-48-1xx gets me 6800 MT/s.

yes it overclocks very nice, no voltage change and i run at 30-36-36-36 no 96 at the end as is default, also changed three other values to lower latency. been fully stable for over a year

I have the same Ram and love the fact that they run at 1.25 Volts as well. I am looking to get another 32GB on Black Friday.

The Team RAM is probably the best secret in hardware, It OCs like butter and runs at nice low voltages. It is like the Team Extreme DDR4 4000MHz for AM4 but 175% cheaper. If you are on AM5 and are looking for a RAM upgrade these are a no brainer. Especially as the platform improves with AGESA updates. The latest one cuts the RAM latency by at least 30%.

1) This is Rev.D, not Rev.C. It was dangerous to go alone so you should've taken Micron's CSN-11 with you.
2) Are the DDR5-8000 results stray remnants from another kit?

Totally fine for your NAS solution or something.
But do you need a review for that?

Did you try seeing how high the freq or timings could go at 1.100V?

This is good for anyone that has a dell, hp etc. that doesn't have xmp etc. and or anyone else that doesnt game or oc and wants it to work out of the box.

I got a set of ddr4-3200 xmp way back and though oh well if it doesnt do it it should drop to 2666, and I was wrong, it dropped back to 2133, cause there was no other jedec profiles except 2133, next jump was xmp 3200. I think all resellers of ram do an abysmal job of being transparent. My opion is that all the jedec/xpm clocks and voltages should be on the ram package for the consumer.

you manually change it from 1.35v to 1.25v? and leave EXPO on? i never thought of that to save some temps. not a bad idea.

I leave them at 1.25. Just set Expo and go. No need for 1.45 or 1.35. I am blown away by how fast the RAM is. If I did not have X3D it would probably be more pronounced.

i'm pretty sure default voltage is 1.35v when expo is enabled, so after you enable expo, you manually turn them down to 1.25v? im a little confused

Clearly the review isn't for you. There are plenty of 6000/6200CL40 kits out there.

Yesss... It took me a minute to remember why I didn't mention or test that, ah yes, no where lol. I had to raise the voltage to pass 5600 MT/s. I think 6000 worked at 1.2, but I just went for the full "limit" because I have limited time for the OC stuff. Was tempted not to do it at all for this memory kit since it was so bad from the getgo. Perfectly acceptable if you aren't planning on OCing.

I'd be curious to see what the other manufacturers could do at stock jedec voltage for freq and timings.
