Been using the non RGB version for about six months now and it's good. It's not perfect, but at least this time around you can use any USB-C cable to charge it, unlike it's predecessor that could only be charged with the supplied micro USB cable.

The hole to insert the cable into in the G502 Lightning mouse has a very strange shape and it's too deep into the body of the mouse for a regular micro USB cable to fit.

It's even worse if it doesn't come with an specific cable but almost needs one ^^" my CU7 only reliably works with the usb-c cable which came with my controller (gulikit kk3 max). Everything else is to big and/or too wobbly...

Razer as well. They use USB-C with no weird shape from the Viper V2 Pro onwards.

Yeah, it's got angled sides, rather than square, but you'd have to file off a lot of plastic on a regular cable to be able to maybe use it.
And yes, it was a really annoying part about that mouse, which they fortunately solved by going USB-C and not doing a stupid shape on the hole for the cable.

Some headsets do that same stupid shit, they have a detachable mic but it's specially shaped so you can't mix them with others.

Actually even the first iPhone had its headphone jack so deep that not every cable reached the jack. Though Apple fixed that in iPhone 3G so I guess that it was just a design flaw.

I decided I would change my case for the X670E-EXTREME board. Get a proper fitting EATX. Also got the 3.0 1300W PSU. Lian-Li has nice cables and a nice fit for the O11 EVO XL and it'll be roomier and adjustable for better exhaust for a top mount radiator. Delivery next Wed.
