IMO dont keep the 7700K whatever gpu you buy will be a bottleneck.
1- Get the 5700x3d + a new gpu
The only remaining question, in my mind, was if AM4 system was able to handle (PSU/VRM) 5700X3D and newer GPU. If all is well I concur 5700X3D now while price is attractive to them.
After which I suspect they will see why we are suggesting strongly considering a more powerful GPU than 3060 for the years ahead.
