You know your Old Lady is a true badass when this shows up on your front porch unannounced! Altho, it may have something to do with the fact that she grew tired of my moaning and whining about the z-623s I switched to recently. Ahhhhh the difference is so pleasant. Not earth shattering or anything but man those 623s are just... not... good.

The true culprit finally showed it's colours. Since W11 24h2 I have been having pure problems. I seriously thought there was something wrong with my GPU. When I turned my Gaming PC on this morning it booted fine. Then it froze. I have no hardware errors and I have used programs to wipe anything that was foreign from my system. The first thing that happened was the 24H2 foreign disk issue that did not show itself at first. Then it was a Kingston Mouse that just stopped responding. The newest driver from AMD was sweet, until the freezing started again. I tried to do a hard reset and the RGB started flickering to a sound I could hear tick, tick. I was beginning to suspect it but now I am sure it is the PSU. If this does not work I will be getting a Seasonic.

Wait, what? Shouldn't your PQ1000M be a pretty good PSU?
I know for a fact I had some similar issues to what you described when I installed my 7900XTX with an old and lesser EVGA 750W unit, which were correctly solved by the Cougar I currently have. Your Deepcool should handle it easily.

I seriously think 24h2 and all the hard shutrdowns may have exposed an issue. I am surprised too as my 750W Deepcool unit is what inspired me to get this one. I guess they don't make them like they used to. I will RMA it but I don't know if Deepcool are any good at that. I remember getting an Asus ROG 1000W for a mining rig and that PSU burned one of the 8 pins. This was before GN's exposure of the industry. Is it not insane that most of us knew contacting Asus for warranty was not worth the hassle.

I forgot o add that 3 of my fans are not spinning even though they are plugged in. Definitely the PSU

Are the fans connected to the motherboard or directly to the PSU with molex/sata cables? If the latter, zero in on the PSU. If the former, is your motherboard above all suspicion?

Nope they are connected to the MB and a 6 fan header board. It is from 3 different headers. One is a top fan. side exhaust and front bottom intake. Sorry I had to go get my Daughter from the School bus. The MB is basically brand new. I have to update my profile. I bought a As Rock X870E Taichi

I also got given a Sony blueray player for free so that is another thing to add to the collection.

I picked up a new motherboard and ram to upgrade my setup from ddr4 to ddr5 during the holiday deals. Err.. I mean I needed to upgrade my wife's computer. I had my old 12700k setting around. So rather than getting a board for it. I figured I would pass down my ASUS ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming WiFi D4 with CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3600. I think in the long run this was a much better upgrade for her overall. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :D

Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming WiFi II
RAM: CORSAIR - VENGEANCE RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 7200MHz

On the right side is a Refoss Tasmota Wi-Fi Plug. I did not sign anything but I will not say any specifics. I got it as a beta tester on 24th december 2024. I had a lot of fun. I gave them some feedback on what to improve for the endproduct.

This is my first powerbank to the left. I would not buy it again. The specs and the german customer support are not honest.

Replacing my Edifier T5 to Airpulse SW8

For this price range I would prefer Presonus Eris Studio 8 (two pieces) combined with Presonus Eris Sub 10:

Easy connection, audio signal to Sub 10, then to both speakers Studio 8.

For this price range I would prefer Presonus Eris Studio 8 (two pieces) combined with Presonus Eris Sub 10:
I'm not exactly a studio monitor guy tried a lot of them in last 5-6 years but honestly never used presonus products. I'm looking more towards hi-fi side. I like more alive sound in longer stretches studio monitors usually have tendency to get boring and than i'm looking for something new.

JBL 305P MKII great value for the money if "they cost right amount" bought them new for 239€ (Pair)
JBL 306P MKII they are worse than JBL 305P MKII (slow midbass less detalization overall) but they costed around 339€ new (Pair) if i'm not mistaken.
Mackie MR524, decent sound but bad quality control distortion is hearable in some lower quality recordings 269€ new (Pair)
Mackie MR624, slightly better than MR524 but also had some quality control issues with distortion in one of monitors 339€ new (Pair)
Focal Alpha 65 EVO decent sound, decent quality control but not my taste in terms of sound also hiss level is not good similar to JBLs. Bought them used but can not remember for how much it was.
Kali Audio LP-6 V2 decent monitors but also nothing special about them in terms of pure sound detalization i'm not sure if they really sound better than JBL 305P MKII because never tested them side by side. Kali audio enclosure quality is not good JBL have slight advantage in this area although they are not distorting like a Kali Audio IN-5. New LP-6 (Pair) was 409€.
Kali Audio IN-5 decent improvement over LP-6 in terms of overall sound quality. You don't need to get used to these, you can listen to them right away becouse they are very neutral saunding (most neutral in the whole list). The best vocals when listening to movies i ever heard. Mid bass detalization is poor for that price it's strange because it's a 3 way speaker. Had a serious quality issues with distortion also have negative toughts about enclosure quality when listening music at louder volumes. Price was 629€ for new (Pair).
Edifier S350DB was decent 2.1 system for 205€ new.
Airpulse SM200 similar to A100 but sounds more boring becouse it is a "studio monitor" slight advantage in tweeter in terms of detalization but not as enjoyable to listen overall less density than A100 (SM200 sounds thinner) less detalization in midrange, midbass also is less mean than the A100 (less pulse, warmth and drama) they look similar but sound is different. Enclosure quality for A100 and SM200 is better than any other brands mentioned above. SM200 new was 810€ (Pair) then it was overpriced now it costs around 680€.

I bought A100 in 2021 for 573€ (new) and sold it in 2023 then i regretted it and bought another A100 in 2024 for 508€ (new) about 4 months ago now i will not upgrade to anything for a long time. :)

SW8 was 339€ but it's more like hi-fi sub than studio no XLR or TRS conections. Good improvement over T5 faster, goes lower, tighter with better detalization basically it was built for A100.

@Bugsy004 that Eris sub is looking really good for the price. Might consider it as a future supplement to my T8Vs.

Some say that Adam Audio products are superior to Presonus. But the price is not justified.
Some reviewers said that the high driver has exaggerated high frequency sounds, but I’m sure that the T8V sounds better than Eris Studio 8. I also have some pairs of Presonus R80 v2 (at office :) ), those I think that sounds like T8V.
Yes, the sub is awesome!!!

Some say that Adam Audio products are superior to Presonus. But the price is not justified.
TBH I bought T8Vs just because Yamaha HS8s were almost double the price for no sane reason (in my country). And those white HS8s I really like, black boxes are boring. I'm not regretting my purchase though.

I mean, look at this beauty:

And then compare it to this ugly mofo  :

Who doesn't know the whites Yamaha HS8. :D I know what you mean!
Sorry for offtopic.

I prefer the speakers to have frontal bass reflex, not in the back. This is the main reason that I prefer Presonus. (eris E5, E5 XT, E7 XT, E8 XT, R80 V2 etc.)

For this price range I would prefer Presonus Eris Studio 8 (two pieces) combined with Presonus Eris Sub 10:

My presonus eris 3.5 died after 1.5 years. I had some chat discussions with amazon to refund it.

I bought B-Grade "ADAM T8V" studio monitors from thomann.de. Nothing to complain about them.
Just be warned - i had some distortions because of a crappy ASUS Mainboard audio chipset. Than I also needed a M-AUDIO AIR 192|6 audio interface and some expensive cables.
So when you buy studio monitors, you should also consider those balanced quality cables and also an usb audio interface.

For audio monitors I use sound cards like Creative G3 (this one can be used at TV's with optical output) and internal AE-5 Plus for PC. Audio cables I bought only premium cables.

I am sorry to hear about your experience with the Eris 3.5. I had one pair for more than 5 years. But a colleague insisted on buying it... those are still ok.

I've stopped buying from Amazon for a while now because they don't honor the manufacturer's warranty (3, 5 or 10 years). So I choose partner stores for my purchases.

Lenovo Go USB-C Laptop Power Bank (20000mAh) for my Lenovo Yoga pro 7 14IMH9:

For this price range I would prefer Presonus Eris Studio 8 (two pieces) combined with Presonus Eris Sub 10:

Easy connection, audio signal to Sub 10, then to both speakers Studio 8.

How is the power bank if you want share because it has a 65W output for laptops: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/acce...chargers-and-batteries/power-banks/40allg2www

I was looking for a power bank like this at one time but dropped looking for because they are expensive.

Mi makes some very good powerbanks. However i prefer the old powerbanks utilizing replaceable 18650 batteires.
