This is on my new mobo both the 3870 oc'ed some and my CPU it's not bad but it's not great either what is holding me back?

I don't think thats too far out, my E6750 at 3.4ghz and my card at 843/1251 got just over 11900, so your score at 3 ghz sounds about right. :toast:

So you see! I told you that the mem speed is affecting bandwidth. Look at Bytor and asb2106's latest results. Can't sneeze at that!!
asb2106's example makes it extremely clear. Core clocks stay the same but up the mem by approx. 27Mhz and you boost the bandwidth from 84.7GB to 86.4GB!
Sure he upped his CPU clock by 17.5Mhz, but 100 more 3DM06 points is pretty darn impressive. Which change do you think made the most impact?

Bytor's latest is proof positive that mem clocks are key.

Here yah go, this is as high as I can get, and I left the CPU clock the same and upped the Memory even more. I actually get the best response in games with my memory being up!!

Im gona leave my numbers as is until I get my new mobo and second 3870(thinking by the end of january), and when that comes around I will repeat my tests and hit the highest I can! Im alittle upset because the only thing stopping me now is the processor, I cannot get it any higher because when i do I loose the bandwith on the PCIe slot.

What MOBO are you using?? Ive had enough with mine, and buying a new one. I know my proc can do much higher than it has been and my mobo needs to go, gettin old!

Well honestly nothing special,

When i started the highest i could get it was 1300, so i bumped the PCIe frequency in the bios up to 110 and I am able to get to this. No pencil or other mods, and my card is water cooled(EK full cover) so maybe its just keeping it cool enough.
