Same here, I only ever install the standalone driver and then use RivaTuner too...

I recommend installing the driver with ccc and remove it from the startup list,
because the standalone driver doesn't come with the wdm driver or something like that.
This can cause some problem especially if you have an older version of it already installed.

Interesting, I'll give it a go. Cheers for the advice.

And that is interesting about the AI, because it was set to OFF by default for me?

my rig;s name is going to go from 1.2 to 2.0 lol

sweet dude, Im really excited to see your numbers!!!

Now I dont know whats been my problem, I thought my q6600 needed this insane amount of voltage to hit 3.6 or higher. Well it might, but I wanted to see how high I could get my ram, and how I could get my proc without going over 1.35 volts.

I was very impressed with the results - VERY!
Q6600 - 3.51ghz
Gskill DDR2 @ 975mhz (rated for 1000) but my P5b Deluxe sucks

sorry to leave them like this, but its too big for TPU - you can DL my results here check it out!!!

No no, VID. It's the stock voltage unique to each CPU as determined by Intel. 1.35v is the standard vCore but the VID is the ACTUAL minimum required vCore for each individual CPU as set when in testing.

Mine for example has a VID of 1.2375v, so I can run stable at stock (and oddly enough up to about 3.2GHz) with only 1.2375v full 100% load on all 4 cores.

Check it with the newest CoreTemp program?

Well according to your CPUZ shot, your vCore is drooping to 1.296v so you're only 0.21v over stock VID and you're @ 3.5GHz...VERY NICE CPU!

What stability tests have you run on it?

prime for 20 minutes, my real test is to run SETI all night tonight,(i run seti 24/7 on my 8 machines, and on about 25 others)

during the prime I also ran the everest test over the top of it, if I ever have stability issues that everest test picks it up ASAP! I think it will make it, I was running all the tests when i shot the CPUZ and coretemp screenies, its been almost 30 minutes now

Folding is where it's at... I run a Folding Team and we've been rocketing through the ranks up to 489th place since only January.

That's impressive, do you have any links to your team or forums?

Sorry for the OT...

But back on topic I've stuck with the 8.3 Cats this evening and worked out their odd quirks and they now perform better than the 8.2 Cats. :toast:

More scores soon, not tonight because I'm tired and I think my lady would kill me if I just suddenly turned all the fans up to 12v... :D :slap:

That's impressive, do you have any links to your team or forums?

Sorry for the OT...

But back on topic I've stuck with the 8.3 Cats this evening and worked out their odd quirks and they now perform better than the 8.2 Cats. :toast:

Here is my bonicstats sheet(its for all my projects)

I always like the newest drivers, it seems like there is little bugs to work out, but once you get them its all good! I will update everything again in the AM. I see that there are quite a few to update. (still running 54 mins)~!

Max I've tried on stock cooler was 877/1400 but I'm pretty sure with the HR-03 GT on there now I can push to 918/1400, possibly more on the ram.

I'm able to keep the card 100% GPU load @ only 33*c right with this HR-03 GT and a 120mm fan on it... It helps it clock... :D :toast:
