    So, no, it is not very good for gaming at all (my GTX 1050 non-Ti (sold) was much better for that) but I rarely game these days, so it doesn't really matter. And it idles at 4 W so that is nice. There are definitely very powerful Radeon Pro cards but this is not one of them; even the WX 3100 is a big step up in performance already.

    I decided to not (fully) return to DDR3. I will be going with (another) DDR4 system. Technically, I do kind of have an "FX" CPU, although it was definitely not branded as such LOL. It is the laptop in my sig (on which I am typing this), which is a "dual" Piledriver core based system. Browsing a well-built site such as TPU it is still really snappy on Linux.

    Linux! Ah, that explains it. That's a great OS with very little overhead so it's fantastic at extending hardware life!
