Are you an Ngreedia simp or what?
I've tested the 9070XT because I was curious about it.
I knew that vram will be a problem, still I wanted to test it for my self since it's not like any tech tuber bothers to test anything beyond 4K.
Just so you know, the FPS was actually great.
The...
My post was about vram usage and not about performance in FPS.
Maybe you should provide data on how great Windows is at releasing this "allocated" vram
I've tested a 9070XT in my system at 7680x2160.
KC2 could not load textures on buildings as I was walking around.
If Windows only...
One thing tech tubes don't mention (at least the ones that I watch) is that Windows and background apps will use VRAM also.
I game at 7680x2160 and dwm.exe and other apps will use up to 4 to 5 GB of VRAM.
When I split my monitor and drop my PC to 2560x2160, dwm will drop to 650MB but the...
In Europe we always pay 300-350$ on top of the fake MSRP.
The AMD GPUs are not considered luxury items like Nvidia GPUs and usually they are not scalped on top of this 300-350$ add on.
Well, I had a 9070XT Sapphire Pure for 1 day. Switched back to 7900XTX.
Returned it because 16GB of VRAM is...
You have not mentioned what brand/model was that 9070XT.
I am curios if it was a Sapphire card.
As for shortage, AMD said they will make more GPUs, who knows how many.
In my area, there is no shortage now.
A lot of 9070/XT in stock, even 5080 at double price and discounted :roll...
RT at 4K in CP2077 can be done with 7900XTX but FSR is messing up some textures on NPCs.
Not sure if I have to change some settings or FSR is just bad in this specific game at this task.
Native 4K with 7900XTX, no RT.
4K+RT+FSR on 7900XTX
The janky NPC sharing a chair, that is just the...
Sure, I guess I must be imagining that I can play at 7680x2160 with a 7900XTX
I keep games at my native resolution and enable FSR to performance and it just works.
A 7900XTX is more than enough to game at 4K, it is not even that expensive compared to Multi Flame Gen and it does not melt...
I've used a 6900XT at 5120x1440 resolution without any major issues about drivers.
Afterwards, I've switched to a reference 7900XTX for the fake 8K monitor at 7680x2160@240hz and performance was still good with FSR.
The only game which had an issue for me was Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous...
