It doesn't seem to be suggesting it will be replaced anytime soon, it's just simply stating what's 'next'. That might be in a year from now, or longer. Nvidia aren't stupid, they know these 3000 series cards are selling like hotcakes, issue is simply getting supply out.

Who said it's server/AI focused? Just because the upcoming May 14th reveal of server/AI/Datacenter cards have obvious 'Ampere' focused hints, what's stopping the gaming side of things being the same? They can both use the same code name but have different derivatives of that base architectures?
