    DDR5 CUDIMM Explained & Benched

I'm excited for CUDIMM for the future. This article was very informative in explaining the technology. However, the benchmarks are misleading and almost disingenuous. You are comparing apples to oranges in a config that almost no one will use (6400MT JEDEC) in what seems like an effort to make...

    Help with Nginx Reverse Proxy

Sorry, silly sanity check question, but does proxy hosts only do http/https traffic? Is what you are looking to do a "Stream" proxy?

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 PCI-Express Scaling

This solution wastes 4 PCIe lanes when used.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 PCI-Express Scaling

I would love to see motherboards that only provide 5.0 x8 (essentially 4.0 x16) bandwidth to the GPU and reallocate the other 5.0 x8 lanes to M.2 and/or additional PCIe slots. I'd rather Give up 1-2% performance for much more expandability.

ENERMAX Launches LIQTECH XTR, Workstation-Level CPU AIO Cooler

Let's hope they don't fill them with toilet water this time. Enermax has had a serious problem with gummed up AIOs. It's a reputation that should give any buyer serious pause.

Mechanical keyboards that don't just die..?

I've seen very few mechanical keyboards "die". Sounds like you've rolled a 1 for dependability a few times, sorry. I even deployed about 20 Velocifire mechanical keyboards ($30-$40 at the time) in an office and the only ones that ended up failing didn't actually fail, but the keys started...

Got an Asus X870E-E Strix board for the extra M.2 cooling & extra slot... issues abound.

I have this issue too. Same motherboard, 990 Pro 2TB in M2_2. It never drops while the system is in use, but one reboot it will be there and the next reboot it won't. I don't remember it doing it at all when I had a Solidigm P44 Pro installed.

Solidigm NVMe Custom Modded Driver for All NVMe Brands SSDs & Any NVMe SSDs

This is destructive to all the data, but 'clean' the disk using DISKPART. Then use windows partition manager to initialize and create a new partition and trim it. You should see performance return. But again, this is only until the drive runs out of fresh blocks and the bug returns.

Solidigm NVMe Custom Modded Driver for All NVMe Brands SSDs & Any NVMe SSDs

@TheLostSwede FYI, likely you are experiencing the firmware bug that SKHynix/Solidigm refuses to address. I encountered this issue on multiple drives from them. I believe the issue comes down to the firmware bugging out and failing to do proper block tracking and garbage collection and so trim...

    Post your 7-Zip v22.01 scores

It's hard to tell about frequency gain due to PBO's variations, but my temps stay under 72c even when benchmarking. That's with a Arctic Freezer III 360. I only used the CPU a week before delidding, but the one thing I noticed is I'm seeing max effective clocks as reported by HWINFO at 5825. I...

Quick Denuvo DRM Cracks Cost Game Publishers 20% in Revenue, According to Study

Technically, downloading a cracked game is not piracy. It's an illegal download. Profiting off of someone else's intellectual property is theft. Downloading is violating a law that says you can't do that. Are you also crying fowl when publishers shut down game studios and overwork developers...

Quick Denuvo DRM Cracks Cost Game Publishers 20% in Revenue, According to Study

It seems to be the study assumes a game release WILL be purchased at launch by every consumer who wants it. The way games have been launching for the past... 10 years or so... I only pick up and play a game on PC after it is complete and discounted. I JUST purchased Starfield two months ago...

Solidigm NVMe Custom Modded Driver for All NVMe Brands SSDs & Any NVMe SSDs

I'd just like to report that I have been testing this driver on my homelab server running 4 x P41 Platinum NVME drives in a Storage Spaces array for about a week now. No issues, didn't even have to recreate the array. Just restarted and everything continued on as usual.
