    RTX 4090 & 53 Games: Core i9-13900K vs Ryzen 7 5800X3D

@W1zzard do you have any comment on the 4k flip in Civ 6? Seems to go from a decent double digit lead for Intel and then flips to a double digit lead for AMD. Seems odd.

Intel 13th Gen Core "Raptor Lake" Desktop Processors Launched: +15% ST, +41% MT Uplift

I know of one person that streams and he gets better frames at least on BF2042 with e-cores disabled because he can push the overclock higher. If they are not disabled and he tries to do the same overclock on the p-cores, he gets crashes. So he actually gains performance in this instant with the...

FBI: Bad Actors Weaponizing Deepfakes for Remote Job Hires

The FBI warns that the FBI is using Deepfakes to justify entrapment. Good to see things haven't change since Hoover was in charged.

Microsoft Readies Security Feature-Update for Windows 11 Needing an OS Reinstall to Use

Until there isn't one. I don't understand how "lol there's an opt out button" is a counter to "keep Enterprise stuff out of home (and not work) out of it". An "opt out" is only an option until there isn't one and we all know how trust worthy MS has been over the years with opt out options...

Microsoft Readies Security Feature-Update for Windows 11 Needing an OS Reinstall to Use

Or you know, we can keep Enterprise stuff for Enterprise and leave the stuff you use at home (and not work) out of it. I know, a novel idea.

Intel Teases Arc Desktop Graphics Card

You know, there's always been the joke of Intel and drivers, and it's not a recent joke. It goes back to 2000 and the last time Intel tried to make a discrete GPU.

AMD Radeon "Navi 3x" Could See 50% Increase in Shaders, Double the Cache Memory

I was using it to compare generational improvements as the 6900 XT is a doubling of the 5700 XT (except for the bus) when looking at the cores, TMUs, and ROPs. Outside of the clock speed difference, you're looking at the changes in architecture. Though I understand your point of the 6700 XT, but...

AMD Radeon "Navi 3x" Could See 50% Increase in Shaders, Double the Cache Memory

That's not relative to each other and one two different scales. See the note at the bottom. I still stand by what I said. If the improvement is more then 50% at 4K from a 6900 XT to a 7900 XT, I'll be shocked (and so will almost everyone else). Like I said earlier, I don't know and neither...

AMD Radeon "Navi 3x" Could See 50% Increase in Shaders, Double the Cache Memory

Plus too I think they're expecting a 40%+ efficiency increase? I'm very skeptical of the more then 50% increase, but it will be amazing if true. Wouldn't have seen those improvement since the late 90s and 3Dfx SLI setups.

AMD Radeon "Navi 3x" Could See 50% Increase in Shaders, Double the Cache Memory

Historical trends say that it's not going to happen. 6900 XT is about 40% faster then 5700 XT. 25% of that is from just the difference in clock speeds. There is no president for a 100%+ increase in performance (if that's what you're arguing for). If there was some simple way to do it, both...

AMD Radeon "Navi 3x" Could See 50% Increase in Shaders, Double the Cache Memory

That graph from WCCFtech is fanciful thinking. At best there will be a 50% increase in performance. There is no way they're going to get a 100%+ increase in performance over the previous generation. You can't increase wattage enough to get that kind of generational uplift. Even when you had...

TSMC Claims Some Companies are Sitting on Chip Inventories

To give one example, you said I stated TPU lied. I never said TPU lied from the beginning. When I said all media outlets lie, it was in the context of TIME, NYT, Detroit Free Press. Why would you assume I'm talking about smaller media outlets in that context? From the beginning I also said...

Sorry you're jumping to conclusions I never said.

TSMC Claims Some Companies are Sitting on Chip Inventories

So your issue is with the idea that you think I'm saying TIME and TPU lied? TPU did not lie as they just repeated what was already published. TIME lied by way of lazy reporting which is rife (lazy reporting) in all the national media outlets. Sure there are a few actors that lie on purpose to...

TSMC Claims Some Companies are Sitting on Chip Inventories

Good job on trying to label people as extreme-ism than having a normal conversation about things. This is why you can't see beyond your own biases. Until you can admit you're wrong, you'll never understand why people say these things.
