Just hit this milestone!

The heat here has made it difficult to keep everything running full tilt. Gets so hot in my "office". The heat index here was 110 the last couple days.

9800X3D and MSI Suprim 5090

I hit 105mil average PPD and @SmookinJoe managed to eek out 114 lol. I don't think I'm going to manage to beat him until I get that other 4090 going in my server. Great job for real!

It certainly wasn't meant to be a flex or anything, just excited to have the hardware for folding. Yes, for now they are all going to be running 24/7. The 5090 will be taking breaks occasionally for gaming. I will have to see how hot it gets once it finally starts to get warm here for summer...

Oh nice! I never got one of those, but I do still have my OCN coasters I won during a foldathon. Looks like according to EOC's folding stats I have dropped to 6th place over on OCN even after all this time of not folding there. Bit dirty from being used often...

Should see some improved numbers from me over the next few days. Had a bit of a scare here. Got the 5090, got it hooked up and folding away... then we had some bad storms roll through a day or two later. Power blipped and the rig with the 5090 wouldn't power back on (had been on a UPS too!)...

4090FE and 9800X3D

Put a little upgrade in the server this afternoon...swapped out the 4070 Super for a 4090FE I got from a friend for a good price after he was able to get a 5090. I also managed to snag a 5090 Suprim from a New Egg drop, that should be here next Tuesday.

I can't really complain about the 4070 S. According to the software it looks like it sits around 200 watts. Depending on WU it seems to be getting an estimated 11-15mil PPD. Currently running Project 12295 Run 114 Clone 33 Generation 18 with an estimate just under 15mil.

@phill I leave the two rigs on 24/7. The 4070 S sits in my server and just does F@H and PLEX, the 4090 is in my main rig and I only stop folding on it for gaming on the weekends or photo editing.

I think nvidia is prioritizing the fab capacity for their Pro/AI card production. I think that's the main reason. Especially if they think tariffs will hit. They likely want to bulk up as many chips for the super expensive products as they can and fill those orders ASAP.
