This is a good question and it's early days as the driver/app only just came out properly, so we kind of need people to figure it out better in relation to NVCleanstall. Some kind of write-up would be good detailing what each part does/is required/what you'll lose/what will break in the NV App...

Wow - so in order to use the DLSS overrides in the app, you also require the old NVCP / legacy control panel? That seems a bit wasteful especially when they're trying to phase out the NVCP. I don't suppose you can use those DLSS overrides without the new NV App?

Yeah you would hope so. But AOZ vrms fail more often it seems, and VRMs failing is the scariest thing to happen

Duly noted - some brands seem to have higher rates of whine than others, but that's a factor I can't control so should ignore. The MSI Ventus 3X is weird - it uses Torx 4.0 Fans, just like some of their other models, and they all say they have ball bearings, so you'd think the same fan would...

@W1zzard Thanks for the review. The graphs indicate that this card has a fan stop feature, but everything I've read says that it actually has a minimum of 30% RPM....
