Unfortunately I have no system restore points for some reason. I've tried doing a full system reset but that doesn't seem to work either. It just crashes and returns to the normal load up screen and starts the whole bsod thing all over again....
Hey all,
Wonder if anyone can help me with this error i keep getting on my laptop. It started completely randomly a few days ago and now i cannot boot the laptop normally at all. It goes into the bsod the restart loop until eventually attempting start up repair which also fails.
However, I...
Thats OK, I'm still experimenting myself and will report back in a few days after testing. Still find it a little absurd that the Mboard auto-sets the voltages so high even at stock speeds.
Ive got some pretty good cooling in the case in the form of two 120mm fans and plenty of airflow. I've set all to XMP and the processor is running at its stock speed of 4.0ghz (4.2ghz turbo) and the RAM @3000mhz (xmp profile). I have simply changed the voltage setting from 'auto/adaptive' to...
Can I ask why you recommend staying away from manual voltage? It seems fine so far, its set at a static 1.328v. Should I do something else? All i changed was that setting.
Thankyou. I've gone in and manually set the voltage to 1.3 and ran an overnight battery of tests and all seems fine. Its annoying that the board auto-clocks so high though.
Hi all,
I recently acquired a pre-built new rig from a popular and reputable computer parts vendor and wanted to check with everyone here about some small findings I have made after the first few days use.
Firstly, I have built my own rigs in the past but this time purely because I've been...
Ok, I've had to order a new PSU but it won't be arriving until next week so I'll report back when I've tried that. The rather annoying feature though with all this is that I've had the computer running 9 hours today straight without issue and during that time used intensive applications...
JerryTheSurfer, thanks for your reply. I've messaged you privately also to let you know I'm addressing this in another thread here. But in short, I'm not really getting any BSOD's, mainly just a complete but extremely rapid loss and regain of power where the computer restarts ultra quickly but...
I've added the hardwaremonitor report for current temps but these are right now where it appears to be up and running fine, I will have to wait until it shuts off again before I check again to see if temps are unusual.
The click has been from the very beginning so I assume its normal for the PSU, however if it was faulty from the start then naturally I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
I've attached a burnitintest report with more detailed specs aswell as temps (i think) if that doesn't have enough...
To extrapolate further on the issue. I am also getting a strange error about every hour or so that says "the usb device is not recognized" this pops up in the bottom right corner of windows. I have only got a wireless keyboard plugged in, along with an xbox controller which I have tried...
Hi there, I posted on this forum a few months ago after building my second ever self build computer. The build went fine except I was supplied with faulty RAM and after having it replaced I was very satisfied with my new build. The specs are as follows:
4790k @ 4.4ghz (Corsair h110iGT liquid...
Hi Jerry, sorry for the late reply I've been away. Can I ask what RAM you replaced your faulty set with? I replaced mine with 2400mhz instead of 2133mhz and it worked fine from then on. For some totally inexplicable reason neither myself nor my supplier were able to get anything other than the...
Just for anyone who might read this and is having similar problems. I can report that the RAM itself was tested by the supplier and found to be faulty. Notably RAM at the same speed and by the same brand VengeancePro 2133mhz always revealed a few errors, however upon receiving exactly the same...
