it's gonna be like $270 or close to $300 IRL street or "RRP", which is the "minimum recommendation" MSRP for the 4060 8GB. This dumpster fire of a GPU is gonna make the ARC B580, a rather "undesirable" GPU more like a decent option for it's closer-to-MSRP of ~$260 (ASRock Challenger model)
Lots of potential that's still on the table for the B580. Wish the ARC Graphics Software have new abilities like limiting background fps for games when you alt-tab (like how Nvidia and AMD does on their control panel), keeping settings permanent rather than resetting it each time the PC boots up...
thank god I'm not on Nvidia anymore. Until they brush up their competence and actually give a damn towards gamers, no one should be taking them seriously ever again and should use AMD or Intel GPUs at this point.
about time... I do hope they can solve the reBAR and overhead issue, making the B580 even more valuable and as a decent alternative to Nvidia and AMD's offering.
so, it's roughly 2x faster than the ARC B580 in both 1080p and 1440p while being a card that can be bought *at* MSRP is both rare and somewhat expected. No one is gonna consider the 5060 after this, considering that card will be just as good or worst than the B580 at both resolutions.
SFF Ready? more like "cards that conforms with the standard height, thickness and length that will fit any and all chassis regardless and doesn't sag as much as the "normal" quad-slot, high af and thick af GPUs that doesn't fit any chassis but full towers that caters only towards a select few.
performance for the 5060 8GB GDDR6 model will be either at parity or perform slightly faster than the 4060 8GB while the 5060 8GB GDDR7 variant will be either slightly behind the 4060Ti 8GB or at parity with it. The 5060Ti 8GB at best will only gap a 5070 but will the 1% lows will suffer as...
guess we normal folks can skip this generation and watch the retailers suffer another round of rotting inventories. The RTX40 Series isn't moving that much despite the minimal price cut it gets, 50 Series is still a flaming paper launch, Intel is being it's incompetent self despite Gelsinger...
