For a limited time, and while supplies last only, customers who buy any BFG GeForce GTX 200 series graphics card starting from yesterday will get a free full copy of Far Cry 2 ($50 value), a full copy of 3DMark Vantage Advanced Edition ($20 value), and
a BFG branded mini super bright LED electric torch. Find more details here.
EVGA is also offering a free Far Cry 2 copy, as long as you meet the following terms and conditions written here. EVGA's offer is also limited while supplies last.

Another interesting thing I noticed on the EVGA page was GTX280 and GTX260 cards that has a + in the name...perhaps a hint that 55nm is nearing?

Maybe it is just be being hopeful since I am waiting for the 55nm switch before moving to the GTX200 series, and every day it gets harder to resist upgrading, especially with this deal going on.

Well I bought FC2 and frankly I wish I hadn't. Its a crappy console port, with even worse performance. The colors in FC2 look off. I can't really put my finger on it, but there is something wrong there. GoW has the same issue. The fire in that game just doesn't look right on the PC.

Crysis does better on my system *AND* looks better. Not to mention its gameplay is MILES ahead.

So woop-da-fricken-do. Bundling a crappy game with a video is a sure fire way to make my want to buy it. /sarcasm

Think the looks are down to personal preference. Like i like Stalkers way more than Crysis graphics. All so graphics are not every thing. In fact i thought Stalker was much more of a game than Crysis was.

All though down to preference.

Anyways on topic, thats cool i'd pick it up if the price was right all though i'm waiting out for the next revision of cards like the 5870 if they don't mess it up..

You're using directx 10? (I guess not if you're on the x1900)

I had the same problem in crysis warhead and another game (can't remember now lol). The colors weren't vibrant and it was blurry. Forced DX9 and all was well. DirextX 10 just looks like ass (plus a huge perf hit). I want my OpenGL back

Sounds like NVIDIA is blowing out the old 260and 280 cards before they release the 55nm cores.
