You are trying too hard to defend them btarunr. What gives?

If THEY cant mount the fans to illustrate a way that MIGHT work, why expect the consumer to be able to see they did it wrong and find another approach?

The typical naiive consumerist will just copy the picture for extra zomg leetness. And fail.

PS. Once the hole is dug, stop digging ;):toast:

I'm not defending them. Just pointing that I guess you're misinterpreting the the picture. Oh, and as for the naive consumerist, there's an instruction manual/leaflet provided (assuming it has more details about the proper use of the cooler, than what we're discussing about.)

MultiFan Mount Structure:
Install the supplied 120 mm fan in a number of locations to aid airflow and
improve compatibility by avoiding interference with other components.

OK, so we all misunderstood this. Bad translation to English. What they mean is Fan MULTI-MOUNT structure, not MULTI-FAN mount structure.

You are only supposed to install ONE fan. The idea is that you can put the fan in the optimal place so that it works WITH rather than AGAINST PSU fan or case fan, depending on YOUR setup, and so that you arrange it to avoid the fan hitting/snagging other components.
