funny to see evga releasing an intel chipset mobo but understandable. However, if i was moving to 1366 i would pick up an Asus P6T series mobo, they are the only ones that offer onboard SAS ports which is a really cool feature for a desktop board.

The contest on their site confuses me. The one who overclocks the QPI to the highest verifiable level using this board will receive a free i7 965. However, since the 965 to my understanding is the only i7 with an unlocked multiplier, It would have an advantage in this contest. The person most likely to win the prize package from this contest would likely be one who already spent outrageous amounts of cash and would benefit much less than someone using a 920 cpu.

I'm curious to see what kind of teething pains eVGA goes thru with this board, considering this is their first foray into Intel chipsets.

Also, I don't see any mention of CrossfireX support. I would assume that's a standard X58 feature, so why wouldn't they mention it?

i'm also very curious to see what the reviews say about this board. if they are not favorable this will probably be their last intel board. plus nvidia will be keeping them busy with their own chipsets expected some time next year.

from what i've read they will be releasing chipsets for both Corei7 (next year) and AMD.

I love that thermalright cooler look alike on the VRMs there and the fan shroud sink too. Looks like a kick ass board.
