See, then you would buy Cammry instead. Its a better choice then Ford even though Cammry costs a little more.

Why wouldnt you able to justify it? Honestly, im trying to understand your point of view.

Because it's a case. A six sided metal box.

But back to the cases.

Why wouldnt you able to justify it? Honestly, im trying to understand your point of view.

He's saying he would be able to justify it because if you can get a case cheaper and does everything you need it to than its not ecinomical th same for taste i like lian li cases but i liked myTT armor more it was bigger better looking and cheaper

Ok, If you going to spend money on metal. Wouldnt you rather buy a metal box that is made out of better quality metal?

Im not trying to sell you on LIan Li, you can buy what you want. But you can buy Lian Li for $100, new.

Car is a metal box, and it gets you from a to b.

meh sound dampening i perosnally like the soun d of all my stuff spooling up if all my fans spool up when i start srysis and the lights dim in the room for a sec when i boot my sytem and i get good fames it makes it easier to justify the ludicrous amounts of money i blew on it

No i wouldn't. Does an aluminium case hold everything i want inside it? Yes. So why spend more on a steel one?EDIT: poor example, but you get what i mean, if it costs less and does the same thing. I would go for the cheaper.

My current case cost me £15, and it holds everything i want inside it. I may go and purchase a bigger case so it can hold a longer graphics card, or i might just mod the current one to make more room inside it.

Car is a metal box, and it gets you from a to b

But which would get me from "a" to "b" using the least amount of petrol? All a case does is hold stuff, a car spends money on petrol, tax, insurance repairs etc. A case just sits there holding stuff.

@Bose

Pretty much all cases cost $5 to build. They charge so much because they are "stylish" PC cases are like handbags to a women as a case is to a geek.

yep, they are cheap to manufacture but he does have a point: the quality of some lian li and thermaltake cases differ a great deal with lian li making exceptional quality cases that cost accordingly. However, they, with the exception of a few models, are not attractive and not pleasing to the eye, at least not my eye. When buying a case i try to combine good looks with quality, thats why i prolly wouldn't buy a thermaltake armor. Aliewnware cases i dont know very much about but would i be willing to get one and play with it? I would say so.

Steel costs less, and aluminum case costs more.

But hey, what ever floats your boat dude. I guess to some some things aren't as important then to others.

my case panels are made out of steel the same size lian li is made out of aluminium ill take something made out of steel rather than aluminum and on top of that my case looked better than lian li's in the same catagory would you go into battle with a steel sheild or an aluminum sheild?

lol

What case do you have?

Aluminum is lighter and is not magnetic. Electronics create magnetic fields to some extant not enough to cook your brain or make popcorn. Thus being in a aluminum box is a little safer.

And if i was to use a shield, i would use a Titanium. Strongest and lightest metal. Does Titanium cost more? It sure does! Is it worth it to protect my life? It sure does!.

he has the TT Armor, see specs. It would be nice to update yours, btw

I thought about it, and i looked at many cases in the past year, but i honestly see no point. Quality of cases have not improved as far as materials they are made out of, aluminum is still aluminum, plastic is still plastic. And after 8 years, mine still in perfect condition as if i bought it a year ago. Over all design of my case is in many ways better then half the cases sold today.

i agree, there a great deal of cases on the market that are of poor quality. but, you my fiend, got a lian li so i'm not surprised that its in great condition today. I have a TJ09 which is not to lian li build quality but a great case nevertheless, and it will prolly last a while as well. though i'm planning to sell it so someone else will be using it.

I wold buy them if I had tons of cash....Why not?

If I was making 500k a year it would be noting, and I would have a very easy warranty.

For some that do not know better. The do get a killer machine, and you have to pay for that service.

Why not? One word, Cray. Why spend over absorbent amounts of money on a relatively mediocre gaming computer when you can go Balls out on a super computer!!! By the way your build is about as close to a Super computer as I'll ever see, nice f-in build!

You call that 5k machine mediocre LOL

That is a killer machine it had the 12gb of ram the 2 SDD drives everything that mine had.....

BUT it also is pre-but in a box and ready to go. It also has a warranty. I don't know if they will drive to your house like dell will. Even tho dell owns them.....

Just remember if your going to spend a ton of cash get a Commodore machine!!! They have wicked cases, and they use PALiT video cards lol.

tj-10 is awesome, but i agree, it is out of most people's reach due to price. but i'm tired of my TJ09 so its bye, bye. I was saving money for 6 months for my 07 build so i could afford it.

Ok, not mediocore. But overpriced for a 750i build, the $$$/preformance ratio is unparallel to a custom build.

Wow they do have some awesome builds!

their cases look nice but i dont think they are all that. i never heard of these guys, btw
