Blood RAGE, the latest member of Foxconn's Quantum Force family with Intel X58 chipset, sets the highest record of DDR3 memory overclocking with Intel Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz armed by a Taiwan overclocker.

With a score of 2513.8MHz (1256.9*2) the test has produced one of the highest OC scores of all time, i.e., a new world record using A-DATA DDR3 800 Memory.

"We are excited to announce this incredible record. The 3-channel DIMM design applied on Blood Rage is truly the best design for memory OC performance so far." said a PM from Quantum Force product team.

The CPU-Z validation can be found here. For more information on Foxconn Quantum Force products, visit this page.

nice,

now look for some serious marketing based on this record

Weird, I had a dream last night that I had found some Blood Rage information online and that I was going to be the first one to post it on TPU. How fuckin' sad is that, but I can't help but think it was some sort of precognition. I swear I have untrained precognitive powers.

Foxconn never did a good-solid-allround boards like MSI,ASUS,GIGABYTE do . They just sell overhyped motherboards with lots of plastic ect. Where is something for "normal" people ? X58 boards are ridiculously expensive nowadays, and manufacturers are trying to sell Christmas trees instead of a real product, i agree that this record is a worth noticing achievement. But when do these marketing horrors will end ? What kind of percentage of people will achieve the same score ? 0.2% ? , based on this hype the price of this board will go up for nothing.

Notice that's only a single stick of RAM.

So what kind of DDR3 memory was he using? It's certainly not Adata DDR2. LOL

Yea I did and a little LOL came over me.

But if it was DDR3 1333 or 1600, it's pretty impressive. We need more details. :)

Not saying that it's not. BUT how many people try to clock just 1 stick of ram really high?

Why can't this board do it with 2 sticks? Does it even come close to doing that with 2 sticks of DDR3?

I expect the sticks with specifically chosen and tested.

Tri-channel at 2500MHz+, and then I will call this board King of X58 board.

I seriously doubt it.

If it could get just short of 2 thirds of that, i would be impressed.

nice looking board only has 3 ram sticks but who need more than 6gb lol

release daaaatte!?

cool, maybe I can keep my board for another week

BAHAHAHAHA!!

Epic News FAIL!!

Nice find btw.:)

And A-DATA does not have DDR3- PC800. Lowest they have is PC1066, which is OEM sticks. You can see it in the screen shot, that its PC3-10700/10666 was used.

Please check the facts before posting news, other wise its not news at all.

btarunr got it form tweaktown dont blame him for providing TPU with news gatherd from other websites, its what he does, its news at tweaktown and im guesing they dont know of that link.

I understand where the news came from the in first place, but at least facts should be checked before passing on and distributing the news.

Thats how rumors start.

No: he got it from me in a PM, yesterday.

If i had known it was incorrect, i wouldn't have sent him that.

I bet they are using something like this:

Not only is he running on 1024 MB DDR3 Single Channel A-Data memory but he's got he system set to 12x180 for 2155 MHz. I want to see what happens with 6GB and a more realistic overclock.

Edit: Is the Foxconn X58 Blood Rage for sale or a museum piece? I can't find it!
