since when intel boards are popular, i mean, if you have to choose between a x58 smackover or a p6t (not deluxe). the p67 wins in all categories and is at the same price if not cheaper. i see this as a desperate try of intel to dont see a red quarter but as i7 is 1% of all electronics pc whatever, this is a shitty intent

i hear ya loud & clear, man. Intel boards, even the ones based on the extreme chipset were never great overclockers. I mean, there were exceptions, Bad Axe 2 was a very nice board for its time, but for the most part they cant come close to their competitors made by other brands when it comes to ocing. Dont get me wrong, their mainstream boards are great for office, home and other non-overclocking uses, their stability & realibility is well-known. But with the exteme boards, why bother?

I'm with Alex, nVIDIA either need to make a fantastic chipset (like the nForce2) or get the hell out. Ever since my experiences with the nForce3 I've been so incredibly disappointed, especially by nVIDIA's after market support.

I partially agree, intel needs to stick to chips and chipsets however I have never had any issues with any of my nforce chipsets 680i, 780i, and i'm anticipating great results once i acquire my 790i FTW. People kill me with their nforce horror stories.
