that pictured board is not the 2 gb 4870. its just a random 4870 sapphire had at their cebit booth.
2 gb doesn't make any sense and sapphire knows this, they will have small quantities to sell them to the e-penis people
Agreed... Even the 1gb cards over 512mb cards of the 4870 the performance differences except in high resolution situations isn't a whole lot. Going to 2gb is only going to lessen that difference and probably with a nasty price increase also. Seriously by the time that amount of ram is going to do you much good, the card simply wont have the punch.
