Mods:
This entire case started with the idea that I wanted to have every piece of liquid cooling hardware mounted internally, hence the name. I just needed more space than a traditional case. It has taken me about 2 years to get the case to where it is now (working on it off and on, plus slowly buying hardware for it).

The first mod I did was bolting two solid case doors together so I could actually put the cases together. Then, I cut out spaces for the PSU cables and water cooling tubing. Nest, I cut out the top left area of the case for the triple radiator and installed the AC Ryan Rad Grill. Then I trashed the acrylic windows that came with the cases and made my own from acrylic panels from Home Depot.

Flash forward about 1 1/2 years and then I cut out the top right area of the case for the acrylic window. I did a bit more cutting on the two solid case doors to allow for better cable management. Also, I cut out the back left area of the case and fashioned a small acrylic panel so I could mount my PSU vertically. And, I painted it all black in the inside . . . spooky. Haha.

Also, I cut a hole in my PSU so I could attach a 120mm fan to blow air into it as the tiny 80mm fan that came with the PSU was getting on my nerves as far as noise goes.

Eventually, I would like to make a custom front and top panel to the case so it doesn't look like it is two cases.

Thanks for checking out my case, I appreciate any comments you may have. Thanks!!!

Nice job. A truly "modular" case.. :D The front panel idea would look really nice. Hurry up and get it done. 10/10

Thanks guys. It might be a while for the front and top panels. I need to find a good metal shop that will let me make them for free. haha.

Dude, it's two mid-towers boltd together! What do you want, the Sears Tower for a case? heh

The ATCS840 has more room than these two together....Other full towers have as much....Thats what i ment.

Well . . . . that's not entirely true. My case has 5,624 inches cubed (16x18x19.5) while the coolermaster has 5,418 inches cubed (22.83x9.57x24.8). Definitely not more but they are close. And with the cooler master case you are limited to where and how much stuff you can through in it. I see room for a dual 120mm rad mounted in the coolermaster but not a tripple rad.

Everyone has different needs or wants from their case. My case fits mine great.

Alright, I just ran 3dmark06 (the 2007 version) and my score is 25818. MY 4870x2 isn't overclocked yet. I just keep putting it off.

How much space you have in vertical ( distance between left and right side panels ) is not important, how much space you have from front to back and from bottom to the top is, or at least it is more important since i am missing the point about what someone would do with 18 inches of width. Perhaps the airflow would gain a bit but 18 inches is just overkill. On the other hand having almost 23 inches in height and almost 25 inches from front to back is a lot more usefull, for me at least.

In any case its a very nice mod :)

Of course it's overkill. lol. There is no way I actually need all of this stuff, I just like it. Thanks!

Nice build 9/10 what are your temps like since to me looks like they should be great. Does it take two people to move it around? I didn’t see any wheels is why I asked.

Oh and I am assuming LAN parties are out of the question unless they are at your place.

The GPU tops out at about 54c on full load but during regular gaming it only gets to about 46c. My CPU @ 4.2Ghz gets up to 57c on full load but only goes up to 45c during gaming.

Haha, yeah, the computer case is pretty heavy when all put together, but its not bad when empty. I can carry the case myself without a problem, but I would never consider moving it for a LAN party. I don't really go to those anymore so it works out. Thanks!

I lold on that one. Is that what she said to you? lol. Maybe you were just spending more time on the rig that with her haha.

In anycase, with those watercooling components you have, you can fit all of those inside a more compact and sleeker cosmos/-s imo..

I am sure I could fit all of my stuff into a single case, but it wouldn't be any fun not modding stuff you know!
