you ever used one? the reasons pile up. slow drives, prone to faults, noisy, hot. absolutely TERRIBLE external enclosures.

Yes, I have used several. The old external is a bit on the hot side, but the case is a $5 POS. That drive is 7 years old and going. Drive in system specs is 2 years and going.

WD makes some of the best drives on the market. Has for years. If you want to talk about drive failures, heat, and terrible quality, I would be glad to discuss Seagate in detail.
