NZXT, a company built on realizing the dreams of gamers worldwide, is proud to announce the immediate availability of the Cryo S, a high performance notebook cooler built with thick, brushed aluminum, with two adjustable 120mm fans that provide powerful cooling to any notebook up to 15 inches. The Cryo S is available now in America from Newegg.com for $49.99.

The Cryo S features a rubber finish that lifts the notebook up slightly to remove heat pockets and enhance airflow. Just like its award-winning big brother, the Cryo LX, this cools not only the fan vents, but it removes heat from the entire notebook case which is crucial for high performance gaming making the Cryo S best in its class for effective notebook cooling. It can be powered via USB or the included AC adaptor and provides two additional USB ports to give users even more options for media, storage and input devices.

they should got rid of the 2 120mm fans & slapped a huge 240mm fan there instead - it would be a lot more quieter at higher revs

amazing how laptop manufacturers can get away with designing a laptop that needs aftermarket cooling or itll melt itself... and sadly if you buy a high performance laptop with souped up GFX and a fast chip itll do just that....

this cooler is great... i mean why have a laptop (portable) if you need to dock it on a large fan which dosent look to be portable (hello lets take this thing out on the train)... not to mention the battery life of a high performance laptop that needs cooling...

Um why the laptop again? :D

Why else would ANYONE buy a laptop other than for portability?

plenty of reasons.

Laptops arent just meant for gaming on the go. a few times I did sit on a 3hr train ride to leeds win my laptop finishing off some sigs

last (and only) time i was there, the things were so packed you wouldnt have room to carry the laptop, let alone use it (central london area, trains and tube)

I never understood what is the purpuse of that kinda stuff.
In my brain a lappie is something thats medium spec in order to maintain good up time and reasonable temps.

When I was really poor I always wanted to have a laptop. Why would anybody with a laptop want to make it a desktop ?!

I'l tell you why, its all about E-peen & 'Bragging Rights'

some people use the machine for gaming at home/work, and want a portable desktop.

Other people want a gaming machine with watercooling and a 42" HDTV... but dont have the space.
