Icons and fonts in vista and 7 are HUUUUGE. Too damn big sometimes.

hold control and scroll your mouse wheel, that should let you actively resize icons on a per folder/desktop basis, you can apply the size to all folders if you like, if you do not know how, just ask im sure somebody can post you some screenshots of the process :p

It's not even worth adjusting, but everyone that sees vista/7 is like wtf with the huge taskbar and icons and stuff haha

i was like that too at first... but my god, on a 1080P screen the XP icons are tiiiiiiiiny.

my mum couldnt use XP anymore, had to take her to vista cause she couldtn read anythin anymore. set it to 150% boost and she's all happy and googling for "rude funny pictures" and emailing them to me :(

its for "big button types" (aka mac users and noob-cake morons), alot of apps have moved the way of "big buttons" and having as few buttons as possible, sometimes thats fine, others its just annoying as shit, at least to a user like myself who REALLY FUCKING HATES BIG BUTTONS, they dont need to be super small but I dont want/need each button/icon to take up an area the size of my fist :p

you do know you can do that with XP as well dont you?

Its not hard to crank up the font size and icon size on xp, Its just not cranked by default because when XP came out 15" monitors where very common still, specially in the business world, and it would have been silly to use vista size icons/fonts on a 15" screen.
