after installing these I see no no panels or no power management or anything

I totally agree with you. I ziped the driver to a folder and deleted the setup file for that stereoscopic crap then instaled, that works great for physix too (another useless waste of space that I have never used). I am acctually plesantly surprised with these drivers. Seems to be working out really well for me in Vista x64.
