New iPod Shuffle announced

people said the razr was a gimmick too... but its a damn nice phone...

Ok, lets not go saying things we all know aren't true...I own a razr...and I every day it pisses me off somehow. here's a rundown of the issues I've had, and similar issues my friend has had:

mine-
causes it's own speaker to make that beepity-beep noise that gsm phones do to speakers, making it impossible to hear people sometimes

constantly drops calls for no reason

restarts itself randomly

extremely slow operating system

my friends-
slow as well

shut down by itself

he's only had his a few weeks, so he hasn't seen all that is to see about the phone. And before you go blaming it on how I take care of the phone, I always carry it in my belt clip, it's never bouncing around my pocket. My previous phone lasted me over 2 years, and it was a cheap free phone. I'm sorry to go off topic, but the razr is a cheaply made piece of crap.

Meh I would rather pay a bit more for a 1gb nano.

Shame apple are stopping them then! But as 1GB has now been replaced by 2GB for the same price you can't complain too much except the old Nano looked better.

On a side note, atleast they have work... but I'm sure you'd prefer them not to have a job at all right?

We need to trade some of them for some of the lazy ass americans around here...

Oh it is so convenient to say "Hey at least they have work". Too bad you don't think that through. If they actually followed the laws and instead of working each person 16 hours a day they could employ 2 people and have them work more reasonable, non-sweatshop, hours. So while you are sitting there being ignorant and saying "Hey they have jobs and that is better then them not having jobs" you can use a little logic and say if they weren't made in sweatshops not only would the people have jobs but MORE people would have jobs! Imagine that.

Oh it is so convenient to say "Hey at least they have work". Too bad you don't think that through. If they actually followed the laws and instead of working each person 16 hours a day they could employ 2 people and have them work more reasonable, non-sweatshop, hours. So while you are sitting there being ignorant and saying "Hey they have jobs and that is better then them not having jobs" you can use a little logic and say if they weren't made in sweatshops not only would the people have jobs but MORE people would have jobs! Imagine that.

But then that would increase the costs for the manufacturer so they would be more likely to chose more developed countries to manufacture in because the potential workers will often have more training, but I'm not saying that is always the case, your arguement is true.

But at least conditions in sweatshops are gradually improving, and the media are bringing these problems to light, such as the recent case which was originally refered to.

Get a decent service provider.

I have never:
Had a dropped call
Had any issues really.


As for the slow thing, dont use a full size picture for the phonebook thumbnails! DUH!

If you get a lot of dropped calls, your service provider is to blame. Not the phone.

My razr has actually given me better reception places my old T720 never did. The lack of analog makes absolutely no difference.

Alltel reception around ohio is exxxxcelllentt!

and no, dont know wtf you're talking about with those beeps because I've never had any abnormal beeps.

But I guess how you use it determines everything. could be the classid ID10T error
