iRiver's Answer to the New iPods

While Apple was presenting their new iPods, one of the Korean gods on the market, iRiver introduced their S10 compact mp3 player. It comes with a 1.5" OLED display, and SRS WOW with 30mW (16Ω), for a size of only 42x30x10.8 and a weight of 17.5g. The S10 supports real audio formats such as MP3, WMA, ASF, and OGG, has a FM tuner, and comes with 1 or 2BG storage capacity and a battery life of 8 hours. Pricing and availability hasn't been announced yet.

It costs 199 US Dollars. get an iPod Nano 2GB for 149...is the better choice IMHO...

Iriver usually beats all mp3 players in sound quality, "usually" extremely durable aswell, I left one out in the rain for a few days lost it in my backyard... found it some days later picked it up turned it on no problems what so ever. I havent tryied this with my ipod yet, and hope it does not happen just because it costs alot more.

But yeat that neck thing is for sissies, cant run with that on.

At least this one has a screen. I can't imagine having an MP3 player and not being able to know what was playing, or not being able to change options on the fly.

mp3 players around the neck were all the rage when i was in paris last summer, so idk

i think it looks sweet

and if you want good sound quality and options, get a rio karma from a few years back. damn sweet, imo
