Logitech Unveils Logitech Notebook Kit MK605

Today, Logitech unveiled the Logitech Notebook Kit MK605 - making it easy for you to use your laptop, your way. Around the house or at your desk, the Notebook Kit MK605 gives you everything you need for a comfortable, organized space. You'll enjoy precise cursor control with the wireless laser mouse, and the pivoting riser lets you elevate your laptop to one of three angles for a height that's just right for you.

Plus, you can place the compact, wireless keyboard where it feels best - and connect both the mouse and keyboard through one tiny Logitech Unifying receiver that stays in your notebook and can be paired with up to four more compatible mice and keyboards. The Logitech Notebook Kit MK605 is expected to be available in the U.S. and Europe in November for a suggested retail price of $99.99 (U.S.).

Not too shabby I think. I wouldn't use it personally, but it would definitely come in handy for those that wish to
use a standard keyboard and mouse.

Wait, I don't get it?...so the laptop just sits on the stand with a wireless keyboard/mouse? :wtf:

why not just plug in a kekboard and mouse regulare and save yourself a 100 bucks. I must be missing something...

I believe easily portability is the key here. The keyboard and mouse both connect to one, compact usb
dongle. So no messing with wires plus you get a laptop stand so you have more room I guess to work with.
Just turn off your laptop, pack everything up, and you are good to go.

yeah but not worth 100 bucks. I was hoping their "stand" would also help to cool the notebook. Sure you get convenience, but not 100 bucks worth. Also, it looks in the pic the stand has a monitor or a laptop with no keyboard which houses all the hardware. Oh well, I guess there is a niche for everything.

Or just buy yourself a cheap laptop cooler to prop it up with and plug your favorite gaming mouse in for like 50 bucks less and call it a day.
