The MSI Classic notebook series charm and elegance appear once again. The new large-screen CR610 offers high-performance audio/video while being fashionably light and slender. Specialized craftsman-like techniques give the 45-degree angled edges a smooth, flowing appearance. The case's profile integrates an optical drive and I/O port configuration and design that creates an uninterrupted outline. With a brilliant finish that features a transparent, engraved color film print, the CR610 emits varying color patterns and variations when exposed to light from different angles. The CR610's fashionably expressive exterior radiates a classic sensation.

The CR610 uses AMD's newest Tigris notebook computer platform and comes with Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows 7, to provide highly efficient and low power consuming operational capabilities while being capable of outstanding image processing performance. Not only does it possess a strong and powerful image processing core, but the CR610 is fitted with a 16:9 cinematic HD (1366×768) display with high resolution LED backlight so you can enjoy the latest first-class visual feast.

MSI Marketing Director Sam Chern remarked, "Besides having a fashionably classic exterior, the 16" large-screen CR610 also features ultra-high performance audio and video as well as AMD's newest Tigris notebook platform. The AMD Athlon II Dual-Core processor and the RS880M & SB710 chipsets provide highly efficient, low power-consuming functionality together with an outstanding image processing performance. What's more, the CR610 also fully supports Microsoft's new Windows 7 operating system so you can always have a superb mobile computing experience."

High Grade Image Processing Performance
The Latest AMD Tigris Platform and Windows 7 Operating System: The CR610 features the new Tigris platform that provides 1080P high resolution images and supports the newest UVD2 hardware decoding technology, which effectively increases HD playback speed and decoding efficiency. While elevating overall system performance, processor loads are reduced, resulting in increased power efficiency. At the same time, the new Windows 7 operating system allows you to easily enjoy a first-class mobile computing experience.

16:9 HD Cinematic High Resolution LED backlit display: The CR610's 16" display is a powerful image processing center. With a cinematic 16:9 HD (1366 x 768) screen, you can watch DVDs without having the bothersome black bars at the top and bottom of the screen, making videos appear more brilliant and providing you with the latest high-grade visual experience.

Carefree Classic Styling
Exclusive Color Film Print Technology: The MSI Classic series 16" CR610 features distinctive color film print technology with a rich technological feel. LED lights complement the brushed metal touch pad buttons and specially designed ornamental keyboard, giving the notebook a refined, high-quality feel. With consumer-friendly pricing, you can effortlessly enjoy a high tech lifestyle with classic, minimalist style.

Twenty percent thinner than traditional 16" notebooks: The CR610's external design is fashionably classic. Its 45-degree-angled edge design around the periphery allows configuration of the optical drive, I/O ports, and cooling vents to be seamlessly integrated into the exterior design. With a battery that is housed flush with the bottom of the notebook, its round and smooth profile gives off a classic vibe with minimalist style. The CR610 is also 20% thinner than traditional 16" notebooks, weighing only 2.48kg with a 6-cell battery.

Integrated Communications Interface
Built-in E-SATA High Speed Data Transfer Port: The CR610 has top-of-the-line network and I/O connection interfaces. Its 802.11 b/g/n high speed wireless Internet provides you with unlimited networked communications. Plus, the latest V2.0+EDR Bluetooth module also provides on-demand high speed data transmissions. The CR610 also features a built-in E-SATA high speed data transfer port that offers transmission rates of 3GB/sec, more than six times faster than traditional USB 2.0 ports!

1.3 MP Webcam: This high performance notebook with classic style also has a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam. No matter where you are, you can keep in contact with friends and family all over the world. With MSI's exclusive easy image recording function, you can effortlessly record all of your life's special moments as they happen.

The cpu is too weak for a dedicated card and you'd be cpu limited in most cases with that resolution anyway

ehhh cpu too weak ehhh

i have a single core pentium from 2001 with dedicated ati graphics and it runs.

I think what you meant to say is that new games will be limited by the cpu. But a 4650 or 4670 aint uber powerful either.

But far more than enough to play cs:source which is the only game I play anyway.

What I think he means is with that screen in HD (ish) it's going to be limited by the processor. You only really start seeing the GPU take full power around 1440x900 or higher. That's what i notice anyway
