If razer say it comes with the fundamentals they really mean it I was surprised this had a scroll wheel. Hell even the mamba or there other mice don't have that many bells and whistles by my books.

I never understood the love of Razer mice. I always thought Logitech made much better stuff.

I preferred the mx revolution to the mamba. Still using the mambo though its really comfortable (and i sold my revolution )

really? i love them. as with the mouse, i hate only one thing on razer mice. They are light and i want heavy mouses and they dont have weight things so... :shadedshu

Im glad to see a scrolling wheel. I use the scrolling wheel and back and forth buttons on the mouse like religiously.

I never understood it either until my Copperhead crapped out and I bought a G9. Needless to say I miss my Copperhead, it had a great comfortable shape and wasn't too heavy. This G9 was designed for a robot hand and is very heavy even without the weights. I'm more or less used to it now, but if I had plenty of disposable income, I'd go back to a Razer mouse.

And why would you say that? Personally I just find my MX Rev more comfortable, the wireless is nice, more things can be hotkeyed to it, Logitech customer service is awesome, the list goes on, plus even as a non-gaming mouse it's dpi is good enough for anything out there imo.

I also dont need 3500dpi to be competetive. just a comfortable mouse with a good polling rate and ofcourse my two side buttons... thanks Logitech

It seems that all companies doing "pro-gaming" gear have real difficulties with actually designing something thats usable for progamer (or at least gamer).

I´ve seen plenty of gaming mices and none of them is perfect, one close to perfection is ROCCAT Kone, but just close, not perfect.

Maybe it would be better if some real gamer designed gaming mouse. I´m afraid I won´t live that long to see that happen.

back in the day my mouse never had them once I got a mouse with side buttons and started using them makes things more efficient.

My logitch G9 serves me well. Everything I need/want in a mouse it has. TRUE on the fly dpi settings, custom profile settings, custom button mapping, weight adjustments, and comfortable grip. My only gripe about it is the mouse wheel lock being on the bottom but thats not a real big deal since I dont use it in game. Which might I add they changed with the new g500,
