Sapphire Launches TOXIC and Vapor-X Radeon HD 5850

I've always been confused on this one. Do the Toxic cards have Vaopr X coolers also?

Toxic cards previously (read HD4890) have an uprated version of the Vapor X cooling system with additional heatpipes, they are also usually better binned chips over the Vapor X, with the HD4890 Vapor X, most didnt quite make 1000mhz out of the box where as most Toxics will do 1020 - 1050mhz.

I'd like to see Sapphire release a Toxic/Atomic 5870 along with a 5770 Toxic/Atomic

And Unlike ASUS Sapphire has taken time to respond to my emails with questions and RMAs..

So I am adding Sapphire to Biostar, DFI and Slverstone as my favorite Customer service companies..

LOL, Its funny how different people can have different experiences.

I have bought several Asus motherboards, graphics cards etc and always received an answer to emails within hours. Asus RMA is done in around 2 weeks where i live, and the last time i RMAed a Sapphire card took 8 weeks.

Silverstone is a joke, i bought a $350 case off them and i needed a replacement part that i said i would be happy to pay a premium for and they couldnt help me. They told me to go buy a second rate part off someone else.

Both Asus and Gigabyte have couple of week RMA times where i live the rest are 8 weeks but ye i guess its different depending where you live.

I sent a bunch of emails to Asus (started when they put 2 sli notches on a bunch of 9800GT video cards) and they never responded to any. I sent them another asking about accessories for my Crosshair III mobo and never received a reply either. (I still use their stuff because its very good)

Silverstone is different i never needed RMA, but I called them and asked for some modular PS cables and they were sent that day. (same with Biostar and DFI but its likely they were so nice because they knew who I was)

I guess the best thing is to call and speak to a person

ya much easier, I had to do the same thing with a part that got a 5 year warranty accidently. They honored it despite their policy change. Thats why i wish AMD directly would get back in the game of board production instead of letting 3rd parties release the reference parts.

Asus once replaced a p5b plus of mine that went for RMA with a P5Q Deluxe because they took 8 weeks ( then a further 2 weeks for me to actually get the board)

+ 1 to Asus being useless lol

but again + 1 to using it because its good gear.

i could care less about parts being good if they dont back it up ya know. Customer service is a plus in my book and sapphire takes the cake on that for me. HIS not so much.
