DFI Launches INFINITY CFX3200-M2/G Motherboard

A few days ago DFI added another motherboard to its INFINITY product line, the DFI CFX3200-M2/G. This board brings together the new AM2 platform and the high performance ATI RD580 chipset to overclocking enthusiasts. The professional gaming board supports full dual x16 PCIe slots providing powerful CrossFire environment, which is great choice for ATI's recently released high-end X1950 Pro video cards. DFI INFINITY CFX3200-M2/G is also equiped with 4x SATA II and 1x eSATA ports, 8chs high-definition audio codec, 10x USB ports, 2x IEEE 1394 ports and Gigabit LAN. Intel runs differently from AMD chips. Intel is based on FSB but AMD is based on multipler.

And yet another mobo with only two usable PCI slots when a properly dual slot Video card is employed. When are the mobo companies gonna buy a clue? Their sales keep dropping and they can't figure out why... Pretty amazing.

there is no way nowadays with sli/crossfire to havemore than 2 usable pci-slots, i suggest manufacturers to start producing bigger mobo's

my at board as 8 slots for example, that will do fine i think, and will fit some cases, you can put the psu where the hdd's are right now

That would mean mATX = Ultra mATX
Standard ATX = mATX
Big atx( dunno wat its called) = Stanard ATX

Extreme ATX eh? Well its no suprise if oneday a big sized motherboard comes out. Most or you can say all companies are having problem with spaces already. Look at the 8800GTX. Gigantic retarded piece of crap. (not saying it sucks but the size does) They have been trying to cramp these spaces into a standard atx size board. No choice pal..wait 5years...probably? =X

less probabily, but i'm not interested in sli or crossfire, nor gigantic cards, so im safe, e preffer to buy high mid-range cards
