I'm gonna kinda have to disagree with you there on the 5970. It sure is expensive. But you get killer performance for what you pay... That's all I'm saying.
I think you mis-understood me. I didn't say it was overpriced, I said it was too expensive. As in too expensive for me. I'd never pay $700 for a graphics card. The fact that it is only about 40% better than the $300 HD5850 doesn't help in that decision either. Actually, $300 is about the limit I would ever pay for a graphics card.
