the only sad thing is,because of their U$ price, when they finally start selling here in my country (if they ever reach Brazil),they'll cost an arm and a leg.But I like the idea of a high-end wireless headset.I always keep on strugling with my cheap corded headphones :D

Wow. I'm so amazingly disappointed. I will receive tomorrow a Performance MX mouse. Why this wireless 1000 reports/sec appeared now?

I'm about to freak right about now, and I never freak over "toys"... Should I write Logitech? Go cry at their door to send this one instead? Please advice a man on the verge of nervous breakdown...

its obviously targeted at a lower audince midway point since they have no refreshed line most ppl go for G7 if they cant get a G9. So they may stop making it The MX is also above this in many ways also. But not gaming geared. (macros recorders hot triggers ext.)

The keyboard is a "head scratcher" ... maybe they realized that no one needed an HD screen or wanted to pay 75% of the price of the keyboard on that feature... but they still wanted a screen so they met it half way to cut the cost. All the features of the new one with a screen of the old one with a few more rows for more info... But they just came out with a mid range refresh that has no screen unless this one is the same price and they stop making the other then..... lol it doesn't make sense unless they've already done all that immediately.

The only item i like is the headset but now there's too many that beat it im sure itll be too high to compete with them but still looks cool.

Sadly Sharkoon has a better looking lineup of new headsets and mouses lol ... just kinda odd i don't think its meant to have a major wow factor... They are just quietly refreshing there line (early yes but still )

I do like and want but man for all three, that is like what 500 bucks or so. Ridiculous when you can build a system for almost that price.

yeah the price will be silly that's why mid refreshes dont work... just cause even if they introduce it low that means itll be like that for a long ass time and then other places itll be worse and alongside the old stock which is worth the same price liek the G they have out now the newest mid-range one with no screen and all the same macro buttons.. Its "worth" the same price and they prolly will be the same price or the old ones will get lowered... no one will want it.

(G10 its called btw)

Well, I'm gonna get my Performance MX tomorrow... maybe even today, UPS site says it's in my town already. I can't say I'm unhappy about it - in the end, it replaces my old (2 months...) MX 1100, which I'm pretty happy with right now, as I have my USB receiver next to the mouse (do not use the MX 1100 with it's receiver on the back of computer USB slots...)

Yeah, so the Performance MX it's better in some stuff, but I really wanted that 1000 reps/sec wireless 5700 dpi mouse... optional USB connection... sigh. It's not like I'll use the Darkfield glass stuff any time soon... and the thumb button does not work flawlessly, at least in MX 1100.

And I had these horrible adjustment problems with the MX 1100, it took a month of settings changes to find one that was comfortable to me. And it had the laser right in front of the mouse, so that took adjustment too. Kinda scared that Performance MX will have problems too, and I'm sure it would take me a while to re-adjust to its middle, proper-positioned laser.

I hope I'll be happy with the new Performance MX and quickly forget the G700 mirage, I'll sleep it over and when I wake up, I will totally forget it was ever released.

Hypnosis help, anyone?

Wireless headphones?!! have I been living under a rock or what:laugh: the cord on my headset is sooo annoying. I have one quetion though, is the sound consistancy and quality just as good on wireless headphones? I'm gonna be looking to buy new headphones since I spilled milk all over my Gamecom 367's:(

Dont get it why to place those three buttons to index finger side. At least I use it for shooting. And the ring finger doesn't do anything.

^ For example the two (silver) buttons on Raven gaming mouse are quite comfortable to use even when other fingers are occupied.

Tell me am I getting old and rusty ? What addict and at least medium skilled player needs all those buttons and displays on a keyboard? Im gaming for like 10+ years now and consider myself a good player and Im hardly able to control about 10 keys around WSAD with less than 1ms response time. I cant even imagine the idea of looking on a keyboard while playing even moving a hand around a keyboard is a lame thing to do because it takes a s**t load of time and you can miss a key!

Will try the G700 out when its released. Until then I have a Mamba and Performance MX to try out.

Too bad there arent any wireless backlit gaming keyboards.

I know one wireless backlit keyboard, which is a multimedia keyboard and is pretty average.

I was gonna agree with you... until I saw that you say you use keys in below a thousanth of a second. I've never heard of humans that can recieve a stimulus, think up a reaction, then decide on and use a keyboard key in less than 0.001 seconds. Respect! :respect:
I do agree with not looking at a keyboard while using it though.

Realistically speaking however, not everyone plays only FPS' like you seem to be suggesting.
The 'true PC game genre', RTS (lol, just kidding, don't kill me) require a greater utililisation of the k/b for pros. In other words it's for Koreans playing Starcraft 2.:nutkick:

Benchmark Scores I don't benchmark.
I just want to know if the programmable buttons can be analog. If I can program the side buttons to understand a "press and hold" as a "press and hold" and not a "single click", I am in. This mouse is clearly a mix of my MX Revolution and the G500 which is exactly what I wanted. It has 2 or 3 to many buttons, but that is fine.

If anyone can answer that question above, please let me know in this thread or PM.

Logitech makes solid M+K products. I'm using them now. I'm not paying that price for them though.
