i love to pay lots of money for a laptop without a volume control, yes i don't like these software controlled buttons as they are slow and need a driver!

dont forget the mobile GPU's are a good step below the desktop variants - the 5870 mobility is a 5770 desktop equivalent, and Nvidia do similar.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but isn't the main point of the i7-980X and other Extreme processors the fact that you can more easily overclock them? How are you going to overclock this? It's not like you're going to watercool it or something.
