Halo 3 Commercial hosted on Bungie

The first advertisement for Halo 3, which aired Monday night on ESPN's Monday Night Football, has been posted on Bungie.net. Bungie funded the CG animated commercial, which was produced by Digital Domain studios. The Halo 3 commercial will also be hosted in 720p quality on Xbox Live marketplace later. A public beta for the game is expected to arrive early 2007 for the USA, Europe, and all the world. You can see the commercial here (WMV file).

I will crack and buy an xbox 360 as soon as this game hits....duddddeee...why did they have to put the movie on ice...make an CG movie PEOPLE!!! *G*

im wondering if thats real time rendering... either way i hope its going to be better than halo 2... i really dont want to fight through a library agian. cant wait to get it... ill probably wait for it on pc tho...

That's not realtime, realtime is the trailer for Halo 3 that was released a few months ago. The commercial is pure CG based on some artwork Bungie slapped in Hollywood's face. Though you have to admit, they did a very nice job

All Bungie shows is 2007, nothing more, but I hope it's sooner. Man, Halo was great, and Lan was awesome one it. Halo 2 didn't have a story as good as Halo, but better Multiplayer/Live/Lan. Now, I hope that Halo 3 will have a great story to finish it all up, and an even better multiplayer experience.

That would just make too much sense...Halo/Xbox were unveiled on 11/15/01, Halo 2 somewhere around there in 2004, so...lol. Too bad, I really want Halo 3 sooner then that.
