Any Netflix customers that brings their tear-off flaps from Netflix envelopes will get to rent a movie for absolutely free. The Blockbuster promotion will end on December 21st. Steve Swasey, a spokesperson for Netflix has a very interesting response.

Blockbuster is probably doing this to promote it's new "Total Access" feature, which allows people to exchange DVD's received in the mail for DVD's in a Blockbuster store.I think most folks know that if you get something free you're getting what you pay for...The very reason for online DVD rental is that you don't have to go to the store. It's the convenience, selection and value.
