So the pitted mobo tray can accommodate larger backplates? NICE! Good looking case with the black inside as well!

^^^why didn't Spire just cut a hole for the backplate entirely?

Overall though it is a nice looking case, just not for me.

I agree with the cpu backplate cutouts. I dont know why they didnt do that as well. Cable routing isnt much thought with the case either. I guess we just got accustomed to certain things even in this price point. I do admit though the case is really beautiful.

It looks good, but one thing that confuses me is why on the rear fan mounting it has holes for 90mm and 80mm when it has a 120mm one provided there already? Who in their right mind would replace the rear fan with a smaller one?

You will notice most cases out there have the option for 90/80mm fans because Manufacturers want their products to be fully compatible under any circumstance. Believe it or not but some people out there still use 90 and 80mm fans. Or think of it this way, your rear 120mm fan breaks and we happen to have an old 80mm fan laying around...you would most likely use it as a back off because a small fan is better then nothing at all.

Okay in the rare circumstance that the fan dies, just RMA it.

Anyways, fans don't die that much. I have like 3 of the stock fans in my Lian Li case and they have been going strong for 3 years now, without even making any noise. It's kind of a rare circumstance to be accounting for really. If you badly need a fan in there, then I'd just cable tie it in place until I can work up the $5 for a new one.
