Eurocom is the world's first notebook developer to support 24GB of memory in a notebook computer. Eurocom line of Panther Mobile Workstations and Mobile Servers is designed for maximum performance and the most demanding users. CAD/CAM designers, engineers, architects and designers who must frequently travel, yet need access to powerful computing, are the core target for Mobile workstations. With unrivaled power, unsurpassed features and unmatched style, the Mobile Workstation is the ultimate evolution of the Desktop Replacement notebook.

Eurocom Panther series is the world's first workstation-class professional super-notebook powered by the fastest desktop 6-core Intel processors and NVIDIA SLI with two GeForce GTX 480M or NVIDIA Quadro FX 5000M. Whether you're a designer developing the latest automobile, a 3D artist working on the next blockbuster film, or a financial trader on Wall Street, EUROCOM Panther series delivers unmatched power and performance for all professional workstation applications, and is ideal for the CAD (computer-aided design), CAE (computer-aided engineering), DCC (digital content creation), visualization, and corporate markets.

Mobile Server is a new category of notebooks designed with a professional user in mind. Software and/or database developers, training centers, military personnel, emergency relief organizations and service organizations who must frequently travel, yet need access to powerful computing, are the core target for Mobile Servers.

There are two models available:

EUROCOM Panther 2.0

Key Specs:
  • Memory: Up to 24 GB DDR3-1333 SODIMM with Triple Channel Memory
  • VGA: Upgradeable MXM 3.0, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480M, GTX 470M, GTX 460M, Quadro FX 3800M and FX 5000M. Supports both Single and SLI configurations.
  • Processor: Workstation-class Intel i7-980X Extreme or Server-class Xeon 5600 series; 6-cores;
  • Storage: up to 3.25GB with 4 physical drives (hard, solid or hybrid) and RAID 0/1/5/10 support

EUROCOM D900F Panther

Key Specs:
  • Memory: Up to 24 GB of combined triple channel memory.
  • VGA: Upgradeable MXM 3.0; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480M, GTX 460M, GTX 470M, Quadro FX 3800M or FX 5000M and ATI Radeon Mobility HD5870

  • Users who run multiple operating systems, 24 GB of RAM ensures there's enough RAM for each OS, ensuring smooth processing.
  • For video editors and producers, large amounts of RAM is key to help speed things up while manipulating huge swaths of video data.
  • For engineers and designers who do a great deal of rendering, large amounts of RAM will save time and money.
  • A variety of specializations under the umbrella of the mechanical engineering discipline (such as aeronautical, biomechanical, and automotive industries) commonly use integrated FEM in design and development of their products. Engineers utilizing Finite Element Analysis will be thankful for the time saved in processing time.
  • Database administrators who compile and search through huge amounts of data will also save great deals of time.
  • Intense graphics use and memory-laden programs, such as multimedia, publishing and graphics arts, 24 GB of RAM will provide the optimal computing experience.
  • Display: 17.3-inch Full HD; 1920-by-1080 pixels; LED Backlit display

I thought the eurocom X8100 leopard also supported 24gb... i could be wrong though as it was a couple months ago i read an article about the D900F panther, X8100 leopard and i'm sure it was also about the X7200 panther 2.0 before it was released.

Well either way they sound like great portable workstations as long as you are strong enough to carry them  i don't see them as much use when on battery power, more of a portable desktop with built in ups (uninterruptible power supply) and although they won't come cheap i'm sure anyone who would need something like this can easly afford it. But the price should include a backpack to carry the thing in as they weigh between 8 and 12lbs

*edit*
after a quick google i noticed this "support for taller 12.5mm z-heights means that the Panther 2.0 can support 1TB drives for a ridiculous 4TB of storage." i only have 3.16tb between my desktop, htpc, notebook and netbook.
