Super Talent Announces First 24 GB DDR3-2000 MHz Triple-Channel Memory Kit

This new large capacity kit enables you to "fully load" the DRAM bus.

Super Talent's new 24GB triple channel kit enables a fully loaded configuration consisting of a Kit of 6 (4GB) modules in 6 slots (DDR3-2000-CL9) at 1.65V. Super Talent's has once again moved beyond industry limitations and produced a DDR3 capable of overclocking to an incredible 2000 MHz.

Wow, thats impressive if it actually works. Its not easy to get 12 GBs running at 2000Mhz especially with 2 Dimms per channel.

It also depends a lot on the CPU's memory controller. Granted, I haven't tweaked it as much as I could (because the change in performance is not worth the effor), but I can barely run my six 2GB sticks of RAM at their rated 1600Mhz on my DFI X58 with my i7 975.

Ya, i think users will need a 980X to make it work so the bclk is not tied to the memory controller.

exactly, lower uncore to memory frequency ratio of 1.5x on gulftown 980x cpus is needed, otherwise on bloomfield cpus you'd need to shove alot of cpu vtt volts to keep that 2.0x uncore to mem ratio http://i4memory.com/f55/intel-core-...oltages-uncore-memory-frequency-ratios-23430/
