Colorful kicked off its GeForce GTX 580 with a factory-overclocked, air-cooled model right away. The GeForce GTX 580 from Colorful features out of the box clock speeds of 800 MHz core, 4200 MHz memory (GDDR5 effective), compared to reference speeds of 772/4008 MHz. The Colorful GTX 580 is based on the NVIDIA reference design board and cooling assembly, and might feature an aggressive fan profile to keep the speedy beast cool. The GeForce GTX 580 is based on the 40 nm GF110 core, it packs 512 CUDA cores and 1536 MB of memory over a 384-bit wide memory interface. Initially Colorful will target the Asian markets with the GeForce GTX 580, a European launch in the future can't be totally written off.
