To view this case mod, go here.
Specs:
Intel i7 950 3.06GHz @ 4.2GHz (1.26v)
ASUS Rampage III Formula
A-DATA 3x2GB
VisionTek 6870 (2)
Western Digital Black 1TB SATA 6GB/s
Noctua NH-D14
Corsair HX 850W
Silverstone Fortress FT02B-W
This was just one of those builds where I didn't want to go crazy with water, or worry too much about hiding cables. I kept it simple, but also kept things elegant. This was my first experience with a Silverstone case, and it was a wonderful experience to say the least. The Fortress FT02 was a joy to build with, definitely a case I'd highly recommend to anyone. It's not only gorgeous, it's incredibly functional.
Look wise, I just stuck with what the FT02 allowed. I didn't go hacking away or even do any sleeving, I just wasn't in the mood for that this time around. Simple and functional, that was the ultimate goal.
As for the overclock, 4.2GHz was met within 15 minutes of overclocking. 4.4Ghz is definitely doable but I'll be sticking with 4.2 for 24/7, 4.4-4.6GHz for suicides.
