I promise you that propelling your Wii-mote fast enough to lodge it in your TV is not in the directions of your Wii manual. I wish I had money to sue those people out of principal. And as for Americans doing the suing...Litigation is the American dream... I personally have been looking for a reason to sue someone for the last 3 years and I'm sure i'll find a reason soon enough.

lol I'm staying away from you:nutkick:

We have plenty of those, that is not the problem. The problem is that we have far to many complete morons and we let those morons have a voice because "they matter".

hmm this gives me an idea maybe i could blame my hernia on the huge ass subwoofer that weighs like 50 LB that came with logitech Z-5500's because the box didn't state

"Huge F-ing subwoofer is heavy bend at knees and not the waist fatass"

any way i doubt there ever gonna win in court unless they get that same judge that awarded that lady 1000's of dollars because she was to stupid to realize that mc donalds coffee was hot and spilled it on her crotch <a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v249/MthcSephiroth/fu.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>

just another case of people suing people because there stupid soon people will be suing themselves

that's fricken hilarous, seriously, the first time I've ever actually "laughed out loud" while browsing this forum, good show!

In regards to the issue...If nintendo is compensating those who broke their televisions, and if they've issued a recall(didn't they?), how can this lawsuit hold up?

The problem isn't that America has stupid people (and i'm not saying that we don't) its just that we have lazy people that look for any way they can to make a quick buck. People rather sue for their own stupidity than to get up off their ass and make an honest buck. Someone said earlier that they put the wrist strap on so you'd play the Wii with enthusiasm and I couldn't agree more, BUT THEY DIDN'T TELL YOU TO WHIP THE CONTROLLER AROUND AT 90MPH.

I'm sure that nintendo wouldn't want this if only for people injuring themselves by throwing out their shoulder or pulling a muscle. People don't want to play with something that hurts them. By your definition Nintendo Wii is about as safe as Lawn Darts.

The simple fact is the strap was put there to prevent damage to the Wii remote and not the things around you. Nintendo knows controllers slip out of people hands and considering you move these controllers in full motions instead of just pressing buttons they knew they would slip. Use some common sense and think before you speak.
