Really? Great products and customer support?
Well, for years and years some Corsair PSUs have had the whining issue, which was not fixed despite numerous reports.
Regarding their excellent memory products, they change IC inside them more often than you change your socks. Which mean product quality, overclocking potential and even compatibility is highly based on your luck.
Their flash products have started to use MLC memory, same as all the other cheap producers, so nothing really special there.
So now they are paying some OEM to make for them CPU coolers, headsets and now speakers. VERY expensive speakers.
Think rationally, stop beying fanboys, because the Corsair from NOW is no longer the good, reliable producer they used to be years ago.
Okay.
What is he talking about? Trolling?
I have bunch of Corsair items, let's talk about it.
PSUs? I have HX650, and I had TX750, both have had no whining issue, and this is my first time hearing about your issue. I think you are the special case. Most corsair PSUs manufacturer are CWT or Seasonic, (Ax1200 is Flextronics). and Most corsair PSUs are better or cheaper than CWT's base units or Seasonic's base units. If you read PSU reviews from anandtech, jonnyguru, HardwareSecrets, Xbitlabs, or somewhere else, most corsair PSUs considered as recommended product.
Only thing I don't like corsair PSUs, they sometimes say that their PSU has OCP, even though they don't have any, or their chipset support but Corsair decide not to use OCP. They still saying they have one.
Other than that, generally, corsair PSU satisfies both quality and price(considered its quality)
Memory, Hmm. I need to admit it is somewhat overpriced, but it is excellent product.
I don't care they change IC's. They don't lie about their specs. If corsair says their RAM support 2000mhz, it actually does. What is problem? They just didn't guarantee 2400mhz or something. You said their RAM is excellent but changing a lot? I just don't get the point.
I agree some people just want it because of Dominator design + reputation rather than functionality of RAM. There is cheaper but same-level RAM on the market.
Their H50 is yes, it looks very similar with Asetec, but. Is Asetec one cheaper or something? Not really. They are on pretty same price range. Because Corsair is more famous, They just marketing better. Is there any problem with buying H50? Also personally I think H50 is designed better.
Their Air cooler is not bad, but not attractive. (I like design though)
Their flash Drive is Yes, MLCs, but who uses SLC? The marketing point of Corsair flash drive is not spec.
their SSDs are SandForce based SSDs, and they have similar price and same spec with other SandForce SSD. Note now samsung or Intel SSD is better, so I think it is not attractive.
Their cases? 800D has excellent interior, but air cooling performance is just suck. Just use it for WC; then it is an excellent case. It is expensive, but you need to also know that 800D is one of bold-steel cases. It is rigid and hard; it costs a lot to have thick steel + huge case. I mean, it is worth its price if you buy correctly. I bought it and just came yesterday, because there are soo few choices for WC cases.
Note they improved a lot when they come to 600T, and new 650D looks like they didn't have same airflow problem like 800D, so they do fix things. I hope to see their next full-tower case, which doesn't have air flow problem.
Their headset? I heard it is just so-so but not horrible.
Their Speakers? I cannot say all thing right now, but

What's your problem?
Overall, I think corsair makes quality product. They often make expensive one, but worth it if you buy correctly.
Sometimes, there is premium when a product have corsair nametag, but not because their reputation mostly(RAM, I think it is).
Because Corsair designed better, like inside of 800D. I think it is reasonable to buy Corsair.
