lolz kewl thanks MailMan! And thank ya rojiuranonekosann!!... I originally wanted to mill it from a solid block of aluminum...may still do it. Just really expensive and a waste of material imo. Thanks for the compliments!!

Said MDF on the link in OP.

How much would it cost for a case like that to be made?

@ACM
I managed to squeeze everything out of a 4x4 sheet...cant recall how much that was, but under $30 for sure. Got the motherboard tray from an old case, cut the PSU and PCI bracket out of another. The paint would be the most expensive part of it all. I am fortunate to have a good friend who sprays cars so it was free. He quoted me around $320.00 if I had to pay for it. Automotive paint is pricey, plus the time involved for priming and prep (took 10 coats) and for two tone (inside black, outside lexus grey). The plexi I scored for free from a guy who makes plexi drum kits, so not sure how much plexi goes for in all honesty. It took me about 3 days to design and build the case all together (was spread out a long time though). So as for cost, hmmmm, I dont have a clue...maybe $450-$500?? Don't quote me on that lolz...

Thanks ensabrenoir!! I couldn't find a water based sealer for MDF (cause auto paint is all water based now), so I had to prime it endlessly until it quit soaking it up. Was kind of a pain, but its completely solid. Thanks for the compliments btw!!

Woah! Sweet rig tzitzibp! That is amazing! What did you use?

My case is pretty quiet, almost silent....until I crank the two front fans, which isn't really necessary, but the case then gives off a kind of wind tunnel sound affect. I think because the only exhaust point is the PSU and its being rammed through it lolz. Another thing I have to work on is sealing the lid seam, maybe with like 1/16 foam or something. I think that will cut down the wooooshing sound when those fans are cranked.

I got many more mods coming for this thing, my setup is just temporary right now. I am just testing temps/air flow and functionality at this moment. So far so good =)
