A Chinese source, probably a distributor/retailer, leaked the first pictures of a retail-grade ASUS GeForce GTX 590 graphics accelerator. The pictures reveal a fairly standard packaging by ASUS, which features the same green box with a mythological warrior character used on most recent GeForce graphics cards by the company. Inside, there's a harder black paperboard box, which contains the graphics card and its accessories. ASUS' card bears a reference design. As with many high-end graphics cards released by ASUS in recent times, there are no fancy anime stickers on the card, rather it features the company badge.

The pictures also reveal a little bit about the card. It's a little longer than most NVIDIA GeForce cards released, including the GTX 295. The two GPU systems look well spaced apart from the central fan, which looks to be engineered for higher air-flow. Flipping the card, reveals that NVIDIA did not use a single full-coverage back-plate, rather two smaller ones, that just cover the area behind each GPU, and spread heat from memory chips located at the reverse side of the PCB. Display IO includes three DVI and a mini HDMI. You can use all three DVI connectors at a time, to drive a 3-display NVIDIA 3DVision Surround setup.

C'mon, Techpowerup is under NDA from Nvidia, they wouldn't dare post anything real about the GTX 590 until Nvidia say so.

I spot a troll..

And what has that to do with this news article? The editor is reporting news, not opinion of this site or it's owner, NDA if in existence with the owner of this site is not affected in any case by news reporting, if W1zzard photographed a card that he had already received from NVidia under NDA that would be different, it matters not if the chinease site posted fake pictures or not, the editor is simply posting the news..... so please move on, stating that you beleive the pictures in the article to be fake is absolutely fine, sometimes its just the way it's done that defines the quality of the post.

Thanks for your reply , I absolutely agree that the editor has the right to post the article, I'm not against that....maybe me saying "They wouldn't dare" was a bit tad...that wasn't my intention in any way. Techpowerup is one of the most respected sites and one that I've been enjoying for a long time, there's no disrespect meant in me say that they are under NDA or that they wouldn't post something like this....I chose the wrong words..my badd.

Now as for the "Please move on"....this is why Techpowerup has a forum, to discuss these matters, whether or not I'm right or wrong, will remain to be seen, I still believe its fake and that's my opinion.

Sexy card.

Wow, now I'm a "Troll" for putting a simple opinion that simply states my believes that the card is fake and is photo-shopped...damn , I not a hater!!

Take A Look!!!

Fudzilla Confirms its fake!!!
http://www.fudzilla.com/graphics/item/22159-nvidias-gtx-590-pixellized

Fudzilla is never a proper source, clues in the name.

FUD.

It's speculation for the most part, often speculation based on more reliable data than most people get but still speculation.

( unless it's posted after a release, even then I tend to find the articles very opinion based)
